Well as my signature says I am a Full-Time Truck Driver thus my access to internet and my schedule are always changing.

I've never tried PbP before, but I have been playing/DMing D&D ever since 2e with a short break that covered 4e as I wasn't a fan, and was hard to find groups being in the military at the time.

Hopefully this PbP thing will work for me so that I can actually play.

It's a good way to play when you want to game a little on most days and you don't have a group to sit with regularly. It can also be an immersive way to play if your group has a few good writers in it.

In fact, PbP has become my favorite way to play RPGs.

We've got a lot of good, active players here on Myth-Weavers, even for older editions of the game. I prefer that style of play myself.

Just wanted to say thank you for your service. I'm an air force veteran myself.

As am I, actually. But Army not Air Force.

So we can now form a triangle of thanking each other for our service.

But let's not, lol.

Agreed. May I ask you what you did?

I was a medic for an EOD company for the most part. I also managed to get a gig as a full-time combatives instructor for a couple of years, which was a lot of fun. How about you?

I was avionics communication specialist and toward the end, maintenance operations control. At the very end I was crosstraining to wideband communication specialist but i was kicked out for weight control issues. By estimates, it was early indications of diabetes *shrug*
