"Sorry, that was in poor taste," she says, genuinely apologetic. "I'm just surprised you'd be open to someone like that after that lycanthrope almost killed you." She looks up at him. She could lecture him on the dangers of dating monsters, but what's the point? He's made his feelings on the matter clear. Plus, she can see he's hurting deeply. Why her mind is focusing on this woman, analyzing every spoken and unspoken word, she doesn't really know. Daemon is in front of her, though, not this woman. And she may only be sitting at this table with him because of his intervention. "I'm sorry, Daemon. I wish it turned out differently. "I don't know how you do it. This is...it's a lot to just hear about, let alone live through. And then to live in the same place where it all happened? Yes, Daemon, you're strong." She looks in his eyes and takes a deep breath. "I'm just so glad you're safe and you're back." She takes the last sip of her drink. "So, is this our new table? Do we go back to Wednesdays?" Given Jason's concerns about her being overly touchy-feely and knowing Daemon's feelings, she's torn on how to comfort Daemon. What she used to do is no longer an option, but she doesn't know another way to be. She'll have to figure that out. For now, though, seeing him smile is enough. She can't remember the last time she saw him smile so much. Maybe this is a good thing. "I think that's a great idea. I'd toast to it, but, you know..."
