A bounty for raiders has been posted in Ashabenford. 100 gold lions for any raider captured alive, 25 for a dead raider, but only if the body can be proven to belong to a raider! People, both travelers and local farmhands, have been disappearing over the past few months from farmsteads and manors along the Moonsea Ride between Ashabenford and Hillsfar. Some say they must have fallen prey to the monsters that haunt the elven woods on the dale's southern edge, others whisper of a Zhentarim plot or the work of the elves protecting their forest. Dark skinned elves have been raiding farmsteads on the edges of the forest near Glen! They must have cleared the traps left by Harpers at Galath's Roost and now use the keep as a base to raid the dale! A company of militia sent to keep watch on the abandoned Galath's Roost has vanished without a trace. The ghosts to Galath and his band must be to blame!
