BACKSTORY:

Jennifer Jones was an only child who originally came from a wealthy family, but after she finished high school she got into a huge argument with her parents and ended up getting cut off from their money. There were numerous factors that contributed to the fight but the biggest one was the fact that her parents wanted her to go to college. Jennifer had average grades and numerous extracurriculars (including cheerleading, kickboxing, and drama) and likely could have gotten into a decent school if she applied herself. However,  Jennifer didn't want to waste her time with further education and really wanted to try to become a famous actress. Her father refused to fund what he considered to be a foolish hobby and in a fit of pique she moved out on her own. Certain that she would be an instant success she packed up and moved to Freedom City, looking to make it big and become famous all on her own. Reality proved to be less accommodating than she expected and after numerous failed auditions and unsuccessful attempts to make connections or get in with the right people she found herself almost completely out of savings and prospects.

At this point in time she heard about a small group of people who were planning on exploring one of the dangerous villainous lairs littering the city. Feeling that she had nothing to lose and everything to gain she weaseled her way into the expedition hoping to make it big. She swore she would become famous even if it killed her...
