After the intense confrontation, Esi laughs and leaves Thandeka alone in the room so that the former can join the others outside in the halls of Spire Dormitory. Meanwhile the human girl says nothing as she tries to calm her breathing. Once she has regained her self-control, she closes her eyes for a moment, then reopens them. Saying a silent prayer, she then quietly leaves her room, sword at the ready, promising to keep a close eye on the fleshwarp... or should she refer to Lilly as a "reincarnate"?
