Although Mery can’t remember any historical figures corresponding to Leedara ever popping up in her studies, she does at least realize that she recognized the priestly robes and symbols of a priestess of Branchala. The funny thing is . . . those are the traditional vestments of a pre-Cataclysm priest or priestess—a lot of things can change in three-hundred years . . . but then again, elves can live for over seven hundred years, so . . . wearing robes that would have been typical from then might not be that unusual . . . maybe?

Called the Bard King, Branchala is the god of music, poetry, and the inner beauty of all living things. Many elves and kender worship him above all other gods. Both groups revere him as a champion of life and laughter, bringing solace and joy to those who listen.
