Name: Brother Wilwick Bramblemane
Class: Cleric 1
Race: Halfling
Age: 44
Deity: None - Domain Priest (PHB p. 32)
Domains: Healing and Celerity
Profession: Herbalist
Party Role: Use healing and herbalist skills to keep other healthy, to provide secondary combat skills, and to improve the morale and spirituality with the domains of nature and the gods of those around him

DESCRIPTION: Recently, Brother Wilwick Bramblemane has been travelling the lands and operating his 'Traveling Ministry & Healing Herbal Emporium' out of his old leather pack. Crowned with a shock of oft disheveled tangled brown hair, the holy man's face is usually dominated by his piercing brown eyes and a friendly, jovial smile of sincerity. For all appearances, the stoutheart halfling seems to be little more than an average human boy who is completely unintimidating since most of Wilwick’s weapons, pack, equipment, and armor are typically kept hidden under his clothing and by his heavy dark green cloak. Even though he is short and trim even for a Halfling, however to the keen observer Wilwick’s wiry frame bespeaks of a tiny man not only learned in matters of religion, but also one who has seen his share of open combat over the years and who is in peak athletic condition.

PERSONALITY: Herbalist by profession and priest by calling, Brother Bramblemane is not your normal preacher type of cleric. The halfling healer is a hardy, passionate, light-hearted, talented, bright, and resourceful individual who always tries to be helpful to those who are less fortunate. In accordance with the strictures of Good, Wilwick furthers his faith by attempting to perform as many good deeds as his lifetime will allow. Bold of spirit and good of heart, he is hardworking, well prepared, energetic and extremely loyal to those few that he calls friend. However, this tiny minister has absolutely no tolerance for pure evil and will oppose it righteously whenever found.

VICES: Elven wine, good halfling cheese, a desire for material things to improve Wilwick's mission and comfort, and over-estimating how much he can do especially in the face of pure evil. Eventually, the tiny halfling will likely bite off more than he can chew, but so far, the gods have favored him on the walk of Fate.

VIRTUES: Bold of spirit and good of heart, Wilwick is hardworking, well prepared, energetic, hardy, passionate, light-hearted, talented, bright, and resourceful individual who tries to be helpful to others who are less fortunate or who are obviously in need of his healing and herbalist ministrations.

BACKGROUND: The only thing overpowering the sweet smell of fresh clover and the warmth of the summer sun on Brother Wilwick’s face was the excruciating pain ripping through his ribs and the fire that was consuming the sinews of his legs. The aging Halfling’s fierce and rapid breath kept equal time to the pounding sensation which enveloped the lad's head while fire hot blood coursed rapidly throughout his tiny body as he ran like the wind.

As a youngster, Wilwick Bramblemane had always been the fastest runner among the clans comprising his family’s tribe that was located in a hilly region just a few miles from the Marrilach River. In fact, there were few other boys or men for that matter who could match Wilwick’s vaunted quickness. It was only when he ran was the lad truly happy and free, and today was no different as the warm, salty sweat stung the racer’s eyes during his early morning exercise routine and prayer rituals.

But his youth had disappeared long ago, so what brought Brother Bramblemane to minister his faith in the river valley in the first place? Well, after his mama died over a decade back and since he had no other direct relatives in the clan, Brother Bramblemane left his home to travel the roads and bring his healing and herbalism skills to those truly in need.

Even though he was not formally trained, nonetheless the cleric had a predilection for healing and herbal skills which translated into his current career. Ever since leaving the clan, Brother Wilwick has been walking the path of good in the Valley of Obelisks, currently by tending to others in the form of his 'Traveling Ministry & Healing Herbal Emporium' most recently in a region near the infamous Shattered Gates of Slaughtergarde.
