Gaddis Super-Max Penitentiary (NO PLAYER POSTS HERE)

_Welcome to Gaddis Superhuman Penetentiary, the perfect place for the super-criminals of the world to mend their ways, contemplate their crimes, and be be rehabilited. Or not. 

The overall layout of the facility is largely unknown to the PCs since they just arrived a few days ago and have spent most of their time recuperating in their cells from "unexpected fatigue". PCs have no idea of the exterior layout because they arrived incapacitated: the last thing they remember is being sentenced by a jury and judge then during transport from the courthouse the PC dozed off. They woke up in Gaddis in a gray prison uniform (long-sleeved shirt, pants, white undies, black sneakers) with none of their gear or powers! So, they have no idea where the penitentiary is let alone what the exterior layout looks like! The interior layout is a holding facility the size of a football field composed of fifty-foot-tall sheer, metal walls with ceiling lighting that comes on before wake-up and goes out just after lockdown.  Inmates are held in a dual-cell (the area marked 'utility shaft' is a private mini-space allowing inmates to shower once daily for five minutes and sub-cells are divided by a steel wall with an unlockable door). Inmates do not have the usual toiletries: once a week a PC can visit the robot-managed Infirmary for a shave, haircut and teeth-cleaning as well as any medical issues.

All cells are ground-level and all inmate movement and actions are monitored by roughly fifty six-foot cyborgs (robots). When an inmate gets hostile at least two of the bots will arrive and that normally calms things down. If a situation gets violent at least four bots will target the offender(s) with laser-beams from their eye visors that typically incapacitate the inmate(s) who are taken to their cell(s) by the bots. Out on the street most of these cons could easily handle a sizable squad of these Guardbots but in Gaddis and depowered the bots' incredible toughness, speed and reaction-time make them more than a match for possibly even a large-scale riot.

The only sounds within the facility are the distant chatter of other inmates that sometimes turns to louder laughing or shouting and the low hum of the lighting apparatus. There are open hallways at middle and each end of the three-hundred-foot wide cellblock. Four of them in total each leading down a long steel enclosed but illuminated hallway to the four key inmate sub-facilities; the exercise yard, the infirmary which has second-level conference rooms (allowing inmates to facetime with their attorney or family), the commissary and the cafeteria. Teams of Guardbots monitor inmates traveling down the 10-foot-by-10-foot walkways that connect the larger spaces and they respond (very) quickly to any altercations within the nearly two-hundred-foot long tunnels. From the time the cells open until lockdown inmates are free to go where they please, to include leisure areas.

LEISURE TIME

Within the large cellblock area are many tables and chairs all bolted to the floor allowing inmates to relax and feel as normal as they can. Each table is equipped with a tabletop digital screen that enables one or more inmates to play various card or board games digitally. These tables also have an immense digital library of pdfs enabling inmates to enjoy a good book. There are also four comfortable recliner-style chairs positioned near the four hallways. Normally cellblock "bosses" like Tyron "Blacktop" Hornell or Christian "Hellstorm" Mueller can be seen sitting in a recliner but sometimes others can steal a cozy nap in them. Finally there are large big-screen TVs mounted in the four upper corners of the cellblock; one shows Comedy movies, another displays Dramas, the third has various sporting events and the fourth showcases historical documentaries. All broadcasts are taped and commercial-free with screen-time matching "wake-up" and "lockdown" times. 

Down the long hallway to the Exercise Yard is another football field-sized indoor sports complex equipped with a running track surrounding a soccer field, several sets of free-weights and required benches, half of a basketball court and a yoga station. Numerous Guardbots are positioned at the steel walls surrounding the yard monitoring inmate activity.
