  1. Rope and empty bags/vials. Always have rope and you'd be surprised where empty containers come up.
  2. I admittedly don't know how my choice of trait lines up with the supposed trait-related events of the storyline. I picked the one that seemed to make the most sense for backstory.
  3. There's several characters I used for inspiration, actually, though Iron Man is one of them! Alexander takes inspiration from Iron Man, Goblin Slayer, Boba Fett, Doom Slayer, and a few other sources like The Rocketeer and Katsuhiro Otomo's Steamboy. I am actually thinking of dipping him a couple levels in a second class. I was thinking of dipping him into Trench Fighter archetype (of Fighter) if it was allowed. If not, maybe dipping Gun Tank. The reason is for weapon/armor proficiency and some more focus into his ranged combat abilities. I made some notes in his sheet about some other things I'm looking at as far as feats and discoveries I'm considering - largely either crafting-related or following the standard picks for a ranged combatant.
  4. Backstory Show Backstory The Torston family were a noble lineage built upon their iron mines and metalworking. The family was known in Mendev for their superior quality in crafting arms and armor. Torston steel was well regarded and trusted among the crusaders, being reliable and sturdy even against the most frightening of demonkind. However, as time wore on, the Torstons eventually earned a parallel reputation for tragedy. The house of Torston were loyal and eager servants of Queen Galfrey and the crusades. Dating back through the various military campaigns, every crusade seemed to bring more and more misfortune and death to the house - whether by war, disease, sabotage, or happenstance. Most Torstons who died on the field of battle were noted for making heroic final stands before they finally succumbed to the onslaught of the Abyss. By the time of he fourth crusade, the blood Torston had been all but spent - save for Lord Jacob, his wife Lady Dianne, and their two children Alexander and Amelie. Alexander was raised as a typical noble son, intended to one day inherit the family estate and hopefully rebuild the crumbling remains of the family's fortunes. Amelie had a gift for the arcane and was studying to become a fully-realized mage. Unfortunately for the noble family Torston, one final tragedy struck. Returning home from a noble party in Nerosean, the family was attacked by agents of the Worldwound's hordes. Though Jacob valiantly tried to defend his family and urge them to run, he and Lady Dianne were cut down without mercy. Alexander tried to defend his sister, but Amelie instead cast a spell to hide her brother from the attackers. Amelie was dragged away; and when the dust settled, Alexander was alone. Upon returning to the estate, Alexander took what remained of the family fortune and spent it on tutors from many different fields of study: Physics, science, alchemy, warfare, engineering, and more. One of his tutors, a scholar from a distant land, offered him knowledge of a secret weapon which would give Alex an advantage over his demonic foes: firearms. Alexander's reputation among the nobility became rather uneasy as he became an obsessed pariah, fettering away his family fortune's and selling the estate in his pursuit of knowledge and training. It hardly mattered to him anymore. Alexander was now driven by a single desire: vengeance. Description/Personality Show Description Alexander's face remains hidden at almost all times. He engineered his helmet so that he could remove the bottom for eating. He is almost always wearing his armor if he can help it. His true appearance is rugged - with ginger hair and five o'clock shadow. He maintains hygiene by necessity. Alexander is tall, fit, and quiet. He maintains peak physical condition, though is often running on steam given his tendency to prioritize his work over rest. Alexander is taciturn, driven, and methodical. He is driven by a sole desire: to kill every demon or other monster that threatens Golarion and its people. He is not used to working with others and carries significant scars on his mental health, leaving him rather antisocial and quiet. He is pragmatic, however, and is not at all opposed to working with others to achieve a common goal. His social skills and his reputation, however, are rather prickly due to his obsessive drive and loner behavior. Despite his brutal efficiency, he is not without compassion or mercy. He is charitable to those he sees in need and would gladly give his life to protect those weaker than himself. He is dedicated to the faiths of Torag and Brigh, given his drive to create implements of monster slaying and his desire to protect innocents from the vile and the monstrous. 5. Hello! Is this campaign still recruiting? I did notice and read that the mythic abilities aren't going to be used, which is fine. I was considering a Gun Chemist archetype - Human. His backstory is, in summary, an inventive and driven survivor of a noble family who decided to spend his remaining family fortune to study things like physics, alchemy, blacksmithing, etc. to enact his revenge on the demons and become a dedicated monster slayer using ingenuity and knowledge. I also apologize that I have not used Mythweavers games since before the change to the new website, so I may be a bit dumb when it comes to the new site.
