  1. I'm considering a bulk hauler pilot, like counterpart to modern day trucker. I'd like him to have mustered out military experience. Do you have a time line you're considering placing us within? I need to find some kind of low level conflict.
  2. I'm interested. I'll have to ruminate on a character concept.
  3. Update in progress High Concept: Classical Physicist Trouble: So many interesting things under the sun Aspects: I'm at home on land like I am in the water I see the shape of you I wonder how that works   Skills: Notice +4, Investigate +3, Thievery +3 Athletics +2, Shoot +2 Empathy +2, Crafts +1 Rapport +1, Physique +1 Will +1 Stunts: Catch When defending against an attack with a thrown object, if you succeed with style, you may catch the item that was thrown at you and create a related aspect with a free invoke, instead of just a boost. Details such as your Physique skill and any relevant aspects may be used to determine whether a given object is something you could, practically speaking, catch. Ricochet When throwing a firm object, I can bounce it off floors or walls and still apply damage Throw and run When you throw an object at an opponent, you can move a zone as part of that throw as long as the way is clear. Refresh: 3/3
  4. I do have a question. How do we hunt for our own food?
  5. Ourra was created to help her master explore the local rivers after NIMH discovered that frogs were too primitive to handle contact with a human mind. Unfortunately it didn't take long for NIMH to get distracted and leave Ourra alone. Still interested in being useful, she eventually took up the habit of coming into the mage's castle when he was awake and trying to make herself useful to him. She was only marginally successful. He found things for her to do, but mostly they were menial and any of the other animals could do them. However, the castle held many other interesting things particularly round things. She soon learned how to move them on the castle floors and that most of them did not work as well outside. Some floated in the river, others sank, some sat in the grass, but others would roll down hills. She has now moved on to other shapes, like Sixes and Sticks. They promise to be interesting, too.   High Concept: Classical Physicist Trouble: So many interesting things under the sun Aspect: I'm at home on land like I am in the water   Skills: Notice +3, Investigate +2, Athletics +2, Empathy +1, Rapport +1, Physique +1 Refresh: 3/3
  6. I'm going to have to withdraw as much as I like the setting and SWN in general, it seems I don't have enough time to keep engaged
  7. All right. So that was HP for levels 2 and 3. With the 6 + 2 from first level, that gives me 20 Hp at 3rd level.   I need to fill out a Mythweavers character sheet at this point. Might have to wait on that until tomorrow. I'll start thinking about what the background means for this character.
  8. 3rd level advancement Shoot - 2  (3 skill points) Pilot - 0    (1 skill point)
  9. 2nd level Advancement Sneak - 0   (1 skill point) Constitution +1 (1 skill point) Sneak - 1   (2 skill points)   Focus Gunslinger +1   Special Abilities Reload ON Turn 1d4 damage on a miss
  10. So at character level 1, I have   Attributes Str 12 Dex 14 Con 13 Int 12 Wis 12 Char 8   Skills Connect - 0 Exert - 0 Notice - 0 Shoot - 1 Survive - 0   Special Abilities Common language Free transport Re-roll failed skill check Draw weapon On Turn Add shoot to damage
  11. All right. Rejiggered to Scout\Sniper Keeping the same rolls for abilities and numbers for Background   Attributes Str 12 Dex 14 Con 13 Int 12 Wis 12 Char 8   Change background to Peasant. The numbers give me Exert - 0 Any skill (Shoot) - 0 Connect - 0 Notice - 0   Again choose Expert, but Focus skill is Wanderer. That gives me Survive - 0 Common language Free transport Re-roll failed skill check   Now for Focus Gunslinger gives me Shoot - 1 Draw weapon On Turn Add shoot to damage
  12. Yeah, but I was considering him to be a primary healer. I'll have to think a bit to see if another concept grabs me.
  13. Hmmm. Looking over the characters, it looks like you have a field medic. I'll have to reconsider.
  14. Character level 1 focus choosing Gunslinger to gain some weapon skills   Skill list so far Heal - 1 Administer - 0 Notice - 0 Pilot - 0 Shoot - 0   Special abilities : Re-roll skill failure once per scene Stabilize On Turn Heal check use 3d6 dropping lowest Draw weapon On Turn Add skill level to damage
  15. Choosing Expert as a character class Non-combat focus chosen would be Healer to get the ability to drop the lowest die. Since Heal is already at 1, I can choose a different skill. I will choose Pilot as he would be trained in driving an ambulance on the ground and the air.     Skill list so far Heal - 1 Administer - 0 Notice - 0 Pilot - 0   Special abilities : Re-roll skill failure once per scene Stabilize On Turn Heal check use 3d6 dropping lowest
