Yes... I own collectable hippos... mostly stuffed and figurine but the adoption thing I want to do is just like that. It costs $30 (I think) and I get a picture of my hippo, a stuffed animal, and my name on his/her plaque. It pretty much feeds 1 adult hippo for a day. They eat a lot as you might imagine. Oh and I also get to go visit whenever I want for free and have a private session with the hippo's trainer...feeding the hippo if I'm lucky.
