"To create chaos." And the head goes limp. "Yes well, they aren't always very forthcoming about things," Tel explains.

"Ah yes, I also had a daughter once..." Tel remarks when Aaliyah begins blurting out questions. The dragonborn replies quickly, "Luna City. The beholder Xeracule. The Book of Fates."

"I... took her... from her mother... twenty years ago."

"I'd prefer a bit of a meal before I make that journey but I suppose I owe you. I'm afraid the magic you're calling for requires expensive components..." Tel nods in appreciation at Kirit while answering Murdains request. He frowns at Aaliyah. "I suppose... if you want to talk to this one, I can do that now. The rest, I'll need some rest first." He casts his magic and the dragonborn inhales sharply. "Five questions but he'll respond to anyone who speaks so... be silent if you've not something wise to say."

The treasure is all stored away in these two large metal chests. They're old and rusty, full of bugs. The money inside is mostly dirty and old as well but with a good washing, it'll all be fine. Hyallmyr. As you sift through it all, you find a few items of interest. There is a silk pouch, half dry rotted, with a smooth black fabric in it and a statue of a dog. The dog statue feels strange to you though as it becomes silver when you touch it and the signs has two heads. There is also a metal rod of some sort with a crystal blade atop it. You recognize it as a wand of some sort. Then there's the coins a d jewelery. The coins are minted with a dwarven woman's head with several braids on her head. The coins are cleanly minted, perfectly round instead it haphazardly stamped. You remember reading about a clan of dwarves that went missing about a hundred years ago, a clan that lived partially in the Vale but ourlt East. This coinage is from there, as is likely the jewelry. Did he call himself Clanbreaker? It's not a name that rings a bell and likely one he gave himself. OOC: Wand of magic missiles, reflavored Onyx Dog statue, portable hole.

You don't initially see any signs of an amulet. However, as you wait for Niko's rage to subside you turn to Kirit and Aaliyah and notice... Aaliyah. Kirit comes to pull you away but as you stand you notice something metallic at your feet in the grass. It's an amulet, a not unfamiliar one at that. Had Murdain dropped the one he had from Sylvania? That's careless of him. He shouldn't leave such things just laying around... Kirit. Aliyah stops and looks at something at her feet. You recognize the amulet from Sylvania. Why was it here though?

With your combined efforts, you quickly put the fire out, leaving only smolders. It's been quite rainy the last two weeks so it's very unlikely things will spark back up without more magical carnage to fuel it. Eventually, Niko's wolf exhausts itself and she's left on the hill with the torn to pieces body of Indominus. The main who turned her husband, who ended her time as a loving wife and mother and set her upon this journey of vengeance. The hills here are calm now, eerily quiet as the battle that had just raged had spooked the local wildlife into hiding. "That's a useful trick," Tel says to Kirit. "I don't suppose you can be assed to help an old man with some graves. One large communal one would suffice. Bad men, this lot, but all men deserve to be judged only by my Lady."

"Excelsior, I believe, was his name. He kept my other holy symbol in his pouch, away from me," Tel responds, gratefully backing away from the fire even once it begins to come under control. "It would seem the cycle has plans for me yet still. As harrowing as this has been, I'm afraid there are graves to be prepared now." The old man looks exhausted but also resigned to the reality he was going to be digging a grave for the dead werewolves.

The bolt of chaotic elemental energy passes through Indominus' wild magic aura and seems to be just broken down into it's component pieces. It cancels out the aura, the two forces of chaos unraveling each other and the backlash sends the barbarian stumbling as wild energy burns his body. The dragonborn seems fully dead and the rapidly ramping up inferno is consuming the two other wolves, who were unable to flee. Their screams are deafening. "I long for the day I meet my mistress but I'd rather my last moments not be... this..." Tel says out of fear, pulling at the ropes binding him to the stake in the ground. The fire is just about to be upon him.

Making my life faster and just posting this now. There is 9,000 gold in the chests in his tent and 10,000 silver pieces (So 10k gold in total) Ruby worth 50g Three diamonds worth 25g each 500 gold worth of assorted jewelry (Priced on weight if you just melted it down) Two scabbards with matching blades in it. A silver long sword and a silver dagger. Non-magical. A silver rod with a blue bladed head on it A small onyx statue of a wolf A black measure of cloth, so dark it seems to almost devour any light touching it, folding in a neat little triangle.

Indominus, feral as he may be, can sense when the numbers are turning against him. His pack was broken and his wizard was dead. So he shoved Niko and backs away, then turns and begins making these bounding strides. He'll leap down from the hill, taking a beating as he does so but managing to gain distance. He is going to move and then dash. Meanwhile, Ved has removed the head from the downed dragonborn. The other werewolves have begun trying to flee but the massive overgrowth on the terrain makes it slow going.

The dragonborn looks quite surprised as ice crystals bind his wings and he comes crashing to the ground, practically on top of you. Also you didn't roll your blasts.

Yes. He's not like the fastest flyer but he's 30 feet up.

Kirit unleashes hell on the dragonborn from behind but his ambush doesn't prove lethal. With a scowl of disapproval, the dragonborn turns turns him but glances towards Aaliyah before acting. He fiddles with something in his belt and says, "Bah.. Cliora, kill them all or die in your effort. This... effort is moot for now." And then he will teleport straight up thirty feet and start flying away. Aaliyah, I need a DC 20 Wisdom save or... well, you know.

Indominus is bloodied. As a reaction to being bloodied, he will... Indominus had just backhanded Niko and berated her for being a weak wolf. Then he says, "let me show you what an alpha looks like," and howls as his body begins to bend and warp. He drops onto all fours and gains considerable size. Most of the wolves you've encountered stand upright usually. They have claws and sharp teeth and generally resemble a Wolfman. Indominus has tusks to make any orc proud. His ears are long and slender but he maintains his normal hands, foregoing claws. His fur is charcoal black and there is a clean silver streak of longer fur down his back along with a row of bony protrusions. Hes fully quadrapedal now. Wild magic flares around him and settles into a new alignment. The ground around him reacts, crumbling into a slippery gravel. Then he runs Niko over again, first punching her in the gut and then bashing her again in the face. Another brilliant flash of light had flared up between them but the wild attacks were undaunted. I need everyone who can see him, which is everyone, to make a DC 18 Wisdom save or be frightened. The terrain around him is difficult for 15 feet. Niko takes.. 34 bludgeoning damage. Barkvin uses another warding flare charge but it didn't quite help.

Unstable Backlash! Legendary Action! "Thats one hell of a bite," the large man compliments, tucking one of his intestines back under the skin and tightening his belt around it. As he tightens it you glimpse briefly an amulet with an eye on it. "Let daddy show you how to make thunder." He backhands you across the face so hard your teeth loosen and the he tries to kick you but your armor takes the worst of it. "Pathetic ass dog wearing armor, using a sword. This is why the father is culling the herd."

"Haha, I been eatin' mages since before you was born kid. I am Indominus Clanbreaker!" A flash of light from Barkvin temporarily dazzles him but he shoulder checks Murdain recklessly, shoving him back off the cliff. Down below, Kirit and Aaliyah kill two of the wolves. Kirit, you assess these wolves and they are considerably stronger than the ones you fought at the library. Those had changed at will also but hadn't had much raw power to them. These, while they do still die, seem more akin to the creatures of folklore. "Golgo, come... be well them for me," the dragonborn says suddenly, producing a vial of blood and drawing a circle around himself in the grass. A rift opens up in the air and a large, red furred ape like monster falls onto the battlefield. OOC: Indominus will attack Murdain twice, Barkvin's flare saves him from one of them but the second hits him for 13 and then he takes 10 falling damage. The wolves all miss. The dragonborn summons a demon.

Correct on both counts.

Legendary action. Indominus is going to shout loudly and wild power will flare out from him. "Come and get me mages. I love the taste of Luna's kids. All magical buff or debuffs at first level in a 60 foot radius end their durations instantly and no spell 1st level or lower can be cast by anyone in that radius for 1 turn.

Update: The four men with red dots cannot transform and are trying to get away but it's slow going. The overgrown grass has caught fire and it starting to slowly spread. Murdain, your magic feels greasy, hard to grasp. It's like your metaphysical fingers slip and while your spell works, some of the magic washes over you. You aren't sure what it did but you've felt this before... OOC: If you cast a spell within 15 feet of Indominus, roll 1d100 for me.

Most of the lesser wolves were ash already. Their inability to invoke their lupine forms at will made them an easy massacre, the reason Iaeus wanted them extinct. However, there is one clutch of men who begin howling as Indominus begins his rage. They transform in the middle of the day and Kirit and Niko find themselves faced with a frenzied assault. One slashes Niko's arm while the other leaps onto her back and bites into her collar. Kirit dodges one slash and deflects another but two sets of teeth find purchase, one grabbing at each arm. They thrash a bit and he slips free but his arms are torn open. Meanwhile, up above, Indominus swings at Barkvin but catches only shield. Then he delivers a powerful front kick that drives through your armor and sends you teetering backwards. "Your pack has soft hands, granddaughter. I'm gonna have to cull a few of them to toughen them up." Down below, the dragonborn breaks out of Barkvin's spell and slowly stands up, cracking his neck and stretching his wings a bit. OOC: Kirit takes 17 piercing damage. Niko takes 20 piercing. Barkvin takes 11 bludgeoning damage. Make a DC 16 STR save or the kick sends you off this little hill and you take 13 fall damage.

He went there mid-turn as a legendary action. If you're starting on the hill, I'd have to ask why Ved is starting on top of a hill. Because if the hill wasn't just obvious casters, he wouldn't have jumped up there. This is why I asked over a week ago for people to get on page.
