  1. "Haha, I been eatin' mages since before you was born kid. I am Indominus Clanbreaker!" A flash of light from Barkvin temporarily dazzles him but he shoulder checks Murdain recklessly, shoving him back off the cliff. Down below, Kirit and Aaliyah kill two of the wolves. Kirit, you assess these wolves and they are considerably stronger than the ones you fought at the library. Those had changed at will also but hadn't had much raw power to them. These, while they do still die, seem more akin to the creatures of folklore. "Golgo, come... be well them for me," the dragonborn says suddenly, producing a vial of blood and drawing a circle around himself in the grass. A rift opens up in the air and a large, red furred ape like monster falls onto the battlefield. OOC: Indominus will attack Murdain twice, Barkvin's flare saves him from one of them but the second hits him for 13 and then he takes 10 falling damage. The wolves all miss. The dragonborn summons a demon.
  2. Legendary action. Indominus is going to shout loudly and wild power will flare out from him. "Come and get me mages. I love the taste of Luna's kids. All magical buff or debuffs at first level in a 60 foot radius end their durations instantly and no spell 1st level or lower can be cast by anyone in that radius for 1 turn.
  3. Update: The four men with red dots cannot transform and are trying to get away but it's slow going. The overgrown grass has caught fire and it starting to slowly spread. Murdain, your magic feels greasy, hard to grasp. It's like your metaphysical fingers slip and while your spell works, some of the magic washes over you. You aren't sure what it did but you've felt this before... OOC: If you cast a spell within 15 feet of Indominus, roll 1d100 for me.
  4. Most of the lesser wolves were ash already. Their inability to invoke their lupine forms at will made them an easy massacre, the reason Iaeus wanted them extinct. However, there is one clutch of men who begin howling as Indominus begins his rage. They transform in the middle of the day and Kirit and Niko find themselves faced with a frenzied assault. One slashes Niko's arm while the other leaps onto her back and bites into her collar. Kirit dodges one slash and deflects another but two sets of teeth find purchase, one grabbing at each arm. They thrash a bit and he slips free but his arms are torn open. Meanwhile, up above, Indominus swings at Barkvin but catches only shield. Then he delivers a powerful front kick that drives through your armor and sends you teetering backwards. "Your pack has soft hands, granddaughter. I'm gonna have to cull a few of them to toughen them up." Down below, the dragonborn breaks out of Barkvin's spell and slowly stands up, cracking his neck and stretching his wings a bit. OOC: Kirit takes 17 piercing damage. Niko takes 20 piercing. Barkvin takes 11 bludgeoning damage. Make a DC 16 STR save or the kick sends you off this little hill and you take 13 fall damage.
  5. He went there mid-turn as a legendary action. If you're starting on the hill, I'd have to ask why Ved is starting on top of a hill. Because if the hill wasn't just obvious casters, he wouldn't have jumped up there. This is why I asked over a week ago for people to get on page.
  6. Just as a reminder about the Lucky house rule. You cannot use your luck points offensively. They are only for your dice rolls.
  7. OOC: Quick mid-turn update while Hyal and Ved get in their posts. Indominus fails but he's going to use a legendary resistance. He's also going to use a legendary action on Niko's turn to activate wild rage. Niko. You sheath your blade is umbral ice and Indominus knows what you're going to do next. He hasn't lived this long by accepting sucker punches. Before you even begin speaking, his eyes flash red and an aura of tumultuous silver energy begins flashing around him. Then some kind of holy light wraps around both him and the dragonborn. The Dragonborn man never moves, remaining seated and appearing calm even once bound. Indominus turns his gaze towards Barkvin and vanishes. Barkvin, Murdain and, I believe, Hyal. You see Niko draw her sword and Barkvin casts his spell. Then Indominus just shrugs that spell off and vanishes in a flash of- "Well well well, my pup brought her pack with her," you hear from just behind you.
  8. One day Aaliyah will remember to actually share this.
  9. This is what I need from everyone. I need a declaration of what you're doing. Which direction you're approaching from, if you're casting anything in advance, etc. Also, tokens.
  10. "Never laid eyes on him. Humie though, gotta be long dead. His name... Ludwig, Ludwig Von something... Von Thoren something. You just gonna walk off now, are ya? Not gonna give dear old a hug and akiss on the cheek?"
  11. OOC: I'm pausing Niko and letting everyone else go.
  12. You study his face and it seems he's developing a lot of respect for you. He believes you killed his tormentor and he wants you at his side. When you describe the wolf though, he grins. "I remember a man, dressed all in black... almost 'ad me, he did. Gave me a right proper fight with his little militia boys, bunch of scrawny chumps. Made me a few pups myself that night." He reaches up and puts a finger to the side of his right eye and pops it out, revealing it to be wooden. You hadn't noticed it earlier. "Now there's a bit of a plot twist, aye? What ya want, now you done find 'im..." he leans right over you so his face is next to yours, then he turns enough to sniff at your collar. "Is that... is that a little bit of... me... I smell in you. I don't remember makin' no drow pups. That make me a grandpappy, does it?"
  13. His face hardens the moment she mentions the Mory family and he growls at mention of the halfling. "Din't expect that..." he admits. A great many emotions seem to cross his face (roll insight) as you proceed. "Ain't much to talk about then if 'es dead. Tried to get back to 'im a few times but 'es always 'ad that house made like a fort. Was on me list, after dear 'ol daddy wolf gets got..." He extends his arms out to the sides, "aftah we become a propa pack! A legion of the mooniest dogs ya ever seen!" He howls and the others in the camp answer it, the sound carrying across the area. "So ya here to rage or ya kill the little one to prove some point? If it's a challenge, I'll be real sad to break you in half."
  14. Several of the people in the camp react to you and a few even start to come your way until you reveal your scar. They hesitate. You're clearly stronger than most of them, even if a few of the men are physically larger. They have numbers but no one seems anxious to be the first person to step up. Lucky for them, you ask for the person they'd all prefer to have deal with a stranger. One woman stands up from her fire and gets in front of you, trying to appear tough but she backs down and nods towards the tent. As she does so, you notice the dragonborn's nostril twitch. He stays in his meditative position, pretending to not notice you but he's following along. "Ain't that a name for a stranga ta know," you hear the deep voice, his thick orcish accent cowing many of the people gathered. The man that pushes out of the tent is more than seven feet tall, broad shouldered and freakishly well muscled. His head is clean shaven, his ears have a slight point to them. His skin is a strangely grayish green color, faded so that the green is only visible in certain light. This is a golric, a half-orc, half-goliath. He's unarmed but his wrists and hands are wrapped up like a boxer's. His left arm is horribly burned. "A drow? On the surface?" He approaches and begins sniffing the air. "A drow wolf. Old curse on ya, somethin' different. So what? Ya come out 'ere lookin' ta sign up for tha cause?"
