Lando The Archmagi

The barmaid saunters over and smiles at Modred as she puts the gold down her blouse, taking his order and says, "Of course m'lord, I'll be back with all of that shortly." She then goes to fetch the items requested. She eventually returns with several flagons of ale, a few plates of food (roasted pig, some sides, loaf of bread/hunk of cheese) and a steaming teapot with a empty mug/spoon for Modred. As Sheela tells the group of their adventures at the docks, Yolanda begins performing and the dinner crowd begins mingling their worries away at the Black Heart Lily.

Ah ok, well, glad you're back.

Yolanda goes upstairs and freshens up a bit. She returns with her lute and goes back to the main stage, tuning and preparing to perform again. She sets out a plate to catch any tips and a barmaid brings her a small plate of food and a flagon. She smiles at Modred's gaze as she begins to play. The Black Heart Lily begins filling up more as the after work crowd begins coming in from common folk to visitors to the port city. A barmaid comes by as Modred. Allen and Linnard join the others at the table. "Can I get anyone anything?"

As if on clue a small party consisting of Modred, Allen, Yolanda and Linnard arrive back at The Black Heart Lily in time for the after work/dinner crowd. Yolanda gives Modred a soft kiss to his cheek, "Thank you for the bit of adventure. I need to fresh up and get some food/drink before my next performance." She heads up to a room she has reserved to fresh up for a bit.

Yolanda smiles as Modred listens to her and she says, "Very well, let us get back. I'm rather hungry now for some good food and drink at my favorite place." Linnard, Allen, Modred and Yolanda leave the old wizard's tower and the door shuts and an audible click/lock is heard as they depart. After about a 30 minute walk through the bustling crowded streets they return to The Black Heart Lily where the dinner crowd is forming.

Yolanda looks up at Modred, "Yes, we should probably get back soon. I have other performances to do and you have your own business. As for your idea, are you sure you want to risk exploring and stealing from a wizard's tower? Remember the trap on the door and you did break in. Who knows what lies further in or up this tower?" She sets her goblet down and gets up, loosening the blade sheathed on her hip and adjusting the lute back over her shoulder.

The patrons of the Black Heart Lily come and go as the three companions discuss things quietly. It has been several hours since the party split up and went different ways. Modred and the entertainer Yolanda haven't returned from the Foreign District yet. The barmaid is busy making rounds as Sudakai finishes a second flagon of the water.

The barmaid nods, "Alright then, if you need anything just holler." She then goes about serving other patrons.

The wine tastes aged and fruity. There are some crackers, cheeses, bread, butter/jam, some sausages on the tray. Everything looks, smells and tastes delicious. Linnard sees an assortment of books about various peoples/nations, basics about various gods and magic theory and the like. You flip through random book which happens to be about the kingdom of Karameikos. It has history, a timeline of events and such. Looks to be dated about 30ish years ago.

The Black Heart Lily is a bustling place in the late afternoon as Thorn and Sheela return. Sudukai has had a few flagons of drink brought to him unless he has refused a refill. A barmaid comes up inquiring, "May I get any of you food or drink?"

Yolanda looks at Modred and Linnard and shakes her head, "Alas, that is beyond me." Modred tastes the wine and it's sweet and refreshing, and he doesn't fall over ill or die after a few moments. Yolanda takes a glass and tries it as well. "Tastes rather good, definitely has aged some."

Sorry to hear that. I hope you're doing better. I'm doing better myself, been on another heavy dose of antibiotic for several days so far. Going to update the game.

The louge/study looks maintained, although, a bit chaotic with the shelves of books and such. Linnard has his choice of places to sit when he enters. Modred, Allen and Yolanda easily follow and can sit in any number of empty spots. The cloak Modred took from the foyer appears to be a fine cloak of wool and cotton with a full hood that can be pulled up and secured to keep one's head dry or warm. Modred sees most of the books appear to be books about the people and cultures of Mystara as well as some books on general magical theory etc. The unseen servant enters the room behind everyone setting a large serving tray on a table, there are goblets of some sort of wine, various treats/snacks as well. They all appear edible and smell delicious.
