  1. Definitely. It was fun but needed to be quick 😂 Remember, you do have a handful of magic items to divvy up.
  2. As you stop and catch your bearings, you look across the collapsed room and on the other side you see Luciana, Zalven, Zenobios, and a a Half-Blood Pict man staring at you in disbelief. Go ahead and post your response in "The Brazen Bull" thread.
  3. Dathan and Zenobios each take up Magnus' body and heft him down past the golem. Zalven and Luciana each take positions to keep watch for any danger as they all make their way back towards the entrance were Wu is waiting. As they make their way by the first intersection of tunnels, they hear a sort of slapping sound and heavy breathing off to the right. Accompanying the sound is a faint Help? Help? Help? You carefully set down Magnus and head over to investigate the noise. You know it's coming from the direction of the caved-in room that Muireach perished in. Once you reach the ledge, you peer across to the unexplored cave where you heard the cries of Help? and to your surprise, you see Iodás and a hunchbacked woman, both armed with rusting scimitars and dented shields and wearing nothing but the gods saw fit to provide them with at birth. They look exhausted and covered in blood. Iodás is holding a red glowing sac and both of their feet glow a cyan colour.
  4. I updated with positions of each party member. I have no problem with having you meet up by coincidence. I've seen Star Wars.
  5. If you haven’t checked out “The Brazen Escape” thread yet now might be a good time. Feel free to meta-game your journey out to take them by that same room. Or if you want me to write your departure from the golem room I can. Are you leaving?
  6. You drop down the five feet and sprint towards the opening. You have to step in some of the goo as you make your way and it sticks to your feet. The cyan glow of your feet mixes with the red of the fire beetle sac to form a purplish glow. As you round the corner, you hear a slurping sound mixed with a Help? Help? Help? as a grey oozing blob starts to rise from the muck. You travel down the tunnel and find yourself staring at a familiar cavern. It is where the snake tried to eat Iodás and where Muireach fell to his death. You are standing at the precipice. There is a ledge about 15 feet to your right and the bottom of the floor is about fifty feet down. You can't really see it, but the light of the sac reflects off the surface of the water. Across the collapsed floor, you can see the tunnel you had originally came through not too long ago.
  7. As you travel, the red glow of the beetle's sac lights your way. The tunnels have been gently sloping upwards, toward the surface. Eventually, you see a blue glow coming from up ahead. The tunnel widens into a larger cavern which opens up beyond slender limestone columns. You stand at the top of a five foot drop off. Within the southern portion of the cavern you see a patch of spongy, cyan-glowing mould. Suddenly it quivers and a sound very similar to the word of a child saying "Help?" emanates from the mould.
  8. Without delay, the warlock slices open the abdomen of the fire beetle, then you two drag away the body before the others further down the cave react. After some careful hacking you are able to remove the glowing gland. You now have light. You are at the 8. You could see several more glowing fire beetles up the passage on the right (east). The "Help?" sound came from the south.
  9. You need to make an attack and damage roll. I didn't indicate the type of scimitar. The book says long, so d8 in one hand, d10 in both. For Dianora, she can have a short scimitar since the situation is bad enough as it is. if you want to reroll that with a d8 one handed or d10 two handed that is fine.
  10. What else are you doing other than gathering the gear?
  11. The flickering glow is revealed to be caused by 3-foot long beetles, with glowing glands behind their heads shedding a reddish light in a 10-foot radius. They move about the cave aimlessly. Also, very faintly from way further down the caves you hear a faint "Help?"
  12. You slowly and carefully step through the natural tunnel, exploring the dark passages as you go. It branches left and right, and you discover that the leftward tunnel ends in a dead end, so you go right. As you move further along, you notice that the utter blackness of the caves is starting to fade. You can barely see each other and the walls of the tunnel. Up ahead you see a flickering reddish glow that seems to come from another branch of the tunnels on the leftwards side.
  13. Everyone braces themselves for the worse when Luciana cracks open the northern door. When nothing happens, she further opens it and the torchlight reveals a 20-foot long hallway to a 30-foot wide chamber. Ahead, the floor is engraved to portray a baleful horned helmet set within a ten-foot diameter circle. The engraving pulses with a deep crimson hue, dimly illuming the chamber. The pulsing glow does cause a slight amount of nausea to anyone who spends any amount of time gazing at it (but nothing mechanical). In the far left corner you see the familiar gleam of Iodás' magical halberd leaning against the wall. His horned helm is lying on the floor amongst his clothing and gear, yet his armour is missing. In the same corner is another pack, armour, and weapons of someone unfamiliar. But what you find heartbreaking is the familiar form of your Viking companion in the lower right corner. Magnus' body lies on the floor in a heap, dressed in clothing that he would wear under his Legionnaire armour, of which there is no sign. His equipage is also there, but Thorn is missing. Basically, all of Iodás' and Magnus' non-magical gear is all present. The scrolls are still present in the scroll case. All of Dianora's equipment (of course the PCs are unaware of who she is) is present as well.
  14. I’m sorry but does this mean you are opening the door or staying in front of the golem?
