  1. Would a wild life studying biologist with a past service as a combat medic work? Also, do the native people of this game’s setting have total cyborgs? If not, then I’ll still have him be from another world.
  2. [A total Cyborg drafted from another world]. Total Points: Unspent Points: Name: Alexander M. Sanders Ht: Wt: Appearance: His Prosthetic Body shares the pale skin, red hair, and blue eyes of his original body. He has chosen to give it an athletic muscle tone as well. Background: Alexander was a biologist in his home world, specializing in researching life out in the wild. Adding to his work experience is a fascination with hypothetical alien biology and his short service as a combat medic. He his curious to a fault yet can keep his cool in a fight. He became a Total Cyborg after suffering grievous wounds from a car accident. How he joined the multiverse: Age: 25 ST DX IQ HT HP Will Per FP Basic Lift: Damage Thr: Sw: Basic Speed: Basic Move: DR: Parry: Block: Languages: TL: 9 Cultural Familiarity: Advantages: Prosthetic Body (Android template from Ultra Tech page 41, with the TL 9 option [-5], Cyborg Brain “Machine Intelligence Lens” (Ultra Tech page 27) [0], and the Realistic Flesh (TL9) Biomorphic Lens (Ultra Tech page 28) [-1]) [105], Disadvantages: Curious [-5], [Skills] Name - Level - Relative Level - [pts]
  3. I've decided to go with a Total Cyborg instead of Transhuman Space Ghost Mind Emulation. Before I commit to a Private Investigator, would a scientist character be more beneficial to the group?
  4. If there is an aversion to second edition, first edition is also fine. The core interest for me is playing an Infomorph style character, so even going with GURPS (such as the Transhuman Space setting) would be good too so long as the similar play-style (e.g., being confined to interacting with the world via computer type actions, sensors, VR, AR, robotic drones, tricking/otherwise persuading NPCS to act for me, etc.) can be performed. If reciprocity is desired, I can run a solo Stars Without Number game in exchange at the same posting rate. I am currently making such a game, this using the Transhuman Campaign options.
  5. In case there is any GM here interested, I'd love to try out playing the second edition of Eclipse Phase. I'd prefer to either play a Gatecrashing Campaign or a cyberpunk (in terms of the genre) style criminal campaign on Mars. In either scenario I tend to really enjoy playing an Infomoprh sleeved character. The Gatecrashing crashing character would make extensive use of bot jamming while the Mars focused character would primarily be a hacker. Due to my work schedule, posting at least once every Saturday is the most feasible posting rate.
  6. So would a hacker/cybersecurity style character be viable? If not, then I'll go with a PI type. Also, can the Gate Worlders repair a Cyberdoll THS android body? If not, then I'll go with a Bioshell. Finally, what do you think would be the most logical way for him to end up in this multiverse setting?
  7. I'm still getting used to the new site layout and am, therefore, posting here. I noticed that this game has been rebooted and is currently being advertised. Is it still permissible to make a character from another world than the main one? If so, I'd like to port over a Ghost Mind Emulation from the Transhuman Space setting (if permitted) again.
  8. Will there also be the Full Body Conversion/total cyborgs/Full Prosthetic Body extreme end of cyberware?
  9. Is this more like Cyberpunk 2020? It looks really interesting.
