  1. aw man, I made... and thought I posted... a post gremlins musta intercepted it
  2. Fifi was fed up with this nonsense. She huffed and set down her drink. Her girls knew that Fifi was “on” when she set down her drink. She got up in the elf’s face and let him have it. She spoke fast and let her Mendozan accent loose… “Listen here, you fetching fungus. I am Fiorella 'Delgado Hermosilla Villa-Lopez Réal, Contessa of Dirnoy! I am way more untouchable than you are, so don’t count on that diplomatic immunity trump-card that you hide behind. The enclave will disavow you to avoid incident. You know this.” She let him squirm for a moment before continuing… “Here’s what’s going to happen. The Legs are going to arrest you. All of this surveillance gear will be confiscated and the Enclave will let you rot in jail. You will then become what they call a ‘compromised asset’ and they will drop you like a wet turd… OR we take all of this as an apology gift, you only get arrested for trespassing and maybe a bit of harassment, and I never mention your name to my family… Also, you will keep our names out of your reports and will never share any of the ill-gotten information that you might have misunderstood today! What say you? Think quickly…”
  3. Kayli snapped the visor down on her helmet and repeated her chant of power. She then laid into the fetching statue. “Get Back!!” She hollered to the citizens!
  4. Kayli noted that there was a new combatant... a tiny one. She sent Squort a telepathic message... "Keep an eye out for that tiny puppet, little buddy." Squort saluted and kept a peery eye. She knew that wand was dangerous and was gonna do her best to get it. Kayli didn't like multiple assailants, so she focused her fury on the sword. She wanted to let Garkyn use that hammer to best effect on the new threat, but there was a still a child in danger. The police whistle dropped from her lips as she telekinetically pushed the boy away from the danger and she chanted words of celestial power. She drew Swiftwind and it hummed with celestial power. She hollered to her squad... "Blue Line!!!! There is an invisible combatant!" She then swung at the wooden sword and did a tactical move to set Garkyn up for the flank with the statue. Squort keeps an eye out for the puppet... ready an action to fly up and try and take his wand TK push the kid 5 foot East Booming Blade on the sword Move 2 spaces South
  5. continued high level on the boards? I have too many kids and they have too many hobbies to feasably run a game... maybe when they get to high school lol
  6. Kayli and Squort navigated the hedge maze and made it back to where the children we're being assaulted. Squort gave an "Eep" and disappeared. She stayed right above Kayli while Kayli circled around the fountain. Kayli then opened herself as a conduit for Shi'Ra's healing power. A sweet smell filled the air and the calming sound of a waterfall could be heard. Kayli danced around the wounded people, spreading Shi'Ra's healing power. The priestesses eyes rolled back in ecstacy and she hollered.... "Shi'Ra's light and love shines on you all! Fear not! The Blue Line will protect you!" Kayli stopped for a moment, during her dance, to use her telekinetic power to push the child away from the animated weapon. She then grasped the whistle around her neck and blew the Blue Leg signal for "Assistance Needed!!" Kayli cherished few things, and this whistle was one of them. It used to belong to her grandfather, a true champion of Justice. One solid note and then two quick ones.... TOOOOOOOOT TOOT TOOT!!!! Move and then Channel Divinity to use Balm of Peace.... I'll get Garkyn, the boys, and the lady As an action, you can move up to your speed, without provoking opportunity attacks, and when you move within 5 feet of any other creature during this action, you can restore a number of hit points to that creature equal to 2d6 + your Wisdom modifier (minimum of 1 hit point). A creature can receive this healing only once whenever you take this action. I'll end up just East of the wooden sword and then TK push the boy, to her NW, 5ft. NW
  7. Fifi lounged and nibbled her snacks while she pounded her rum punch. “So, a Djinni-owned casino heist? Didn’t expect that… What kind of intel do we have?”
  8. Kayli was impressed with her squad. They took initiative and little delegation was necessary. They handled the last location quite well! Commendations would be going in the report, especially for the new recruit. He had a calm demeanor and it smoothed out his rough edges. The 304 was definitely the precinct for him. Also, boy eye-candy was a nice thing… Window-shopping was not against her tenets of purity. ———— Squort found the boys’ location, so Kayli bolted off the porch and headed to the back yard. Squort made herself visible, and flew higher than the maze walls, so she could help lead the Blue Line through…
  9. Kayli was impressed with her squad. They took initiative and little delegation was necessary. They handled the last location quite well! Commendations would be going in the report, especially for the new recruit. He had a calm demeanor and it smoothed out the squad’s rough edges. The 304 was definitely the precinct for him. Also, sexy-boy eye-candy was a nice thing… Window-shopping and admiring a beautifully constructed male was not against her tenets of purity. And also, having a clean boy around Izzy might convince Wes to bathe and shave a bit more. ***At the Manor House*** Kayli and the squad rolled up on the location. “We should follow protocol. Announce Presence… Check Perimeter… Ingress. Blue Line…with me! Squort… fly around the house and look for activity!” Squort hollered “Okay!” and Kayli boldly walked up to the front door and used the butt of her cudgel to “cop knock.” Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom!!!
  10. Fifi’s dreams had her unsettled. Something was brewing and the Cat was maybe trying to tell her something. She also had to deal with Colli’s fetching soul. Breaking the contract, while keeping his mother well, was a risk. She could probably do it, but probably wouldn’t cut it. It weighed heavily on her mind. She hated this. She needed to weed Colli out of her. It was one thing to fetch up her life, but now it was affecting her “sisters.” She was done with him, again… She was still finding herself in all of this. Her curse of inevitable failure had made her strong, but bursting at the seams of madness Fifi had been holed up in a nice hotel in the Wine District under a fake name, but her baes knew where she was. She needed to figure this shit out, with no Colli fetching up her logic. She had spent a few days drinking herself to sleep, bathing, and then “carousing” at night. She had been looking for rats, but deep down she doubted her dreams were that literal… but it was a start to finding a tangible thread to bat around in her mind. She spent a few days, after her bender, digging through the tombs at the Great Library… pausing briefly to rock a quite sexy nerd’s world in the Magical Contracts section. She totally needed that. Romance caused way too much emotional bondage and feelings and stuff… She was done with it! This banishment of romance would hopefully help her swallow her decision to downgrade Colli to just a friend with benefits. Her friends would have to help her enforce this rule, but they would support her in this… she knew it. But she also had to deal with his soul and his sick mother… Hurumph. She was floating on post-coital endorphins as she took her research and found a private study room. She prayed to the Cat for a blessing and then set to the task of breaking the fetching contract, but also keeping Colli’s mother in good health… Nothing major…
  11. Kayli examined the toy and looked around the warehouse. They didn’t know whether or not the owner of this warehouse was culpable or just a victim of happenstance. Squort flew outside to just above the door, to see if anyone was a bit too curious.
  12. Kayli followed Garkyn. It was best to stay in formation. Squort flew up about ten feet to try and get a better vantage.
  13. “We need to check the statement and ensure the safety of the mother and child, but we witnessed an immediate threat heading into that warehouse. We go there!” Squort agreed and took the lead. No one could see her and she was basically fearless… and also invisible.
  14. Kayli sat up on her desk to address her squad. Her hair was a bit frazzled from sleeping on the couch. The taste of regret, from a bit too much wine, was still on the back of her tongue. She didn’t mind, though. She leaned in and spoke in a quiet, deadpan voice… “Ya know what’s good for a hangover?” Kayli let the joke sit and wait for the punchline to kick in… “Drinking heavily the night before….” She smiled and just let the dad-joke sink in for a moment before getting down to business... "Okay, Blue Line, let’s kick today’s ass like we did yesterday’s. I think that the woman and child’s safety should take precedence… so we’re tackling that first. Is everyone’s medpack full? We roll out in ten minutes…” She sat back down in her chair and reviewed the case files one more time, jotting any pertinent notes down in her little black book. Squort invisibly flew about the precinct, helping herself to whatever snacks were unattended.
