    Basic deets -- this game's typically updated 1x/week. Party's on the 4th level of the tomb, and it's definitely had plenty of opportunities to be deadly. Am using Roll20 for maps, but am doing the movement myself based on feedback/input.

     

    For survivability, you may want to bring Ian, but -- for experience / levels -- you may want to bring Alsonton.

    Are you ready to plunge into the fiery depths of Avernus and join a daring band of heroes on a quest to save a city from infernal doom? We're is looking for brave souls to join our current party on their perilous journey in Baldur's Gate: Descent Into Avernus.

     

    Current Party Line-Up:

    1. Kahlyn Ahlorsath - Played by rogueblade0729, Kahlyn is a valiant Triton Paladin (Level 6), wielding holy might to vanquish the denizens of darkness.
    2. Acwan - Portrayed by TricksterArcane, Acwan is a crafty Human Wild Magic Armorer (Artificer 6/Barbarian 4), a master of both arcane gadgetry and raw, untamed power.
    3. Callous - Brought to life by Quint Essence, Callous is a fearsome Tiefling Biter (Barbarian 4/Fighter 3), a terror on the battlefield who revels in the thrill of close combat.

     

    Current Quest:
    Our party is currently in Elturel, a city on the brink of ruin, teetering on the edge of being dragged into the infernal abyss. The next leg of our journey will take us into the very heart of Hell — Avernus itself — as we seek a means to break the diabolical chains pulling Elturel toward its doom.

     

    We Need YOU!

    Paavu winces at the axebeak's response. She's known others within her former clan who could converse with beasts, but that skill wasn't one she'd acquired and she was certain from the expressions on the faces of her companions that none of them were too pleased with the brash response the creature gave. There was a good chance they'd all be discovered in short order.

    Focusing once more on her crossbow, she ensured that the weapon was loaded, the string set, and the trigger at the ready. They couldn't afford any more mistakes right now. There was no telling what they'd come across and whether they'd be outnumbered.

    That which is known

    Stones have been taken from all over Phandalin -- Miner's Exchange, Shrine of Luck, Barthen's well.

    Gwyn says the cornerstone was a Netherese fragment. She's knowledgeable on the topic. The stone would've been suffused with magic, and it's possible that it's leaking magic and affecting things around it.
