Curious about the lasting worlds of other universes, they spend most of their time wandering. World Basselt originated in a temporarily overlapping area of the elemental planes of fire and earth of their universe, where all the planes slowly move relative to one another. The world they came into was harsh, and unstable: It would only last a handful of years, before the shifting planes tore it apart again. History Elemental Hellscape One of the many elementals spawned within the overlap, closer to the earthen plane Forced to fight for survival, due to other elementals attempting to engulf (Magma) or extinguish (Earth) them Fled to plane of Air via gatewalking instinctually. Introduction to the wider Multiverse and becoming a Realmwarden Ran into Realmwardens in the plane of Air who were on an expedition to this world to examine the evershifting planes and their interactions with one another Spent a few years travelling with them, helping them traverse the planes of that world Eventually joined them when they returned to the Nexus, joining the Realmwardens proper.

Something of a workaholic, it's rare that he's not working on a case of some sort, sorting out disparate threads in order to find the truth of the matter. World Viscardi hails from Sul-Rou, a world where there was almost no distinction between magic and technology. Still recovering from a recent meteor impact, much of its beauty is damaged, but the inhabitants are hardy, and working to restore this world to its former glory. History The Arcology Raised in one of the many mystical Arcologies that dot the surface of Sul-Rou Viscardi is the eldest child in his family Has 4 younger sisters and 2 younger brothers Parents are a Magus (Mother) and Detective (Father) Inherited his father's sense of justice and mother's talents. Decided to head into the same career as his father, but in a private capacity Introduction to the wider Multiverse During one of his investigations, Viscardi came into conflict with an interplanar gang Said gang was using a permanent gate to transport imps into the Arcology Viscardi managed to locate and inflitrate where they had hidden the gate A firefight caused the gate to overload, transporting everyone in the vicinity randomly throughout the planes When Viscardi awoke afterwards, he was being tended to in heaven, and had absorbed some of the gate's ability, becoming a Gatewalker Realmwarden After recuperating in the Heavens, Viscardi wanted to try and track down any survivors from the gang, but without any leads, he had no clue where to start. The Archons suggested joining the Realmwardens, as they had both the ability and knowledge to help him

An experience. He flits from one topic to another at the drop of a hat, rarely focusing on anything for long. While he genuinely wants to help folks, his plans to help, if he has any, tend to be haphazard and made up on the fly. World The Wicked Wastes, a desolate world of bones and breath, stands as a lawless planet marred by incessant warfare and turmoil. Amidst the chaos wrought by robbers, robber barons, and local monsters, a handful of individuals endeavor to eke out an honest living in this forsaken wasteland. It's an arduous task, given the inhospitable nature of the land. The competition for vital resources like water mines and arable land is fierce, with bands of mercenaries and outlaws engaged in a relentless struggle for survival and wealth. Adding to the challenges is the history of this once-advanced world, now reduced to ruins after the endless fighting. Occasionally, remnants of machinery protrude from the sands, revealed by the ever-shifting wind. While some basic technology has been reverse-engineered, the more sophisticated artifacts have ceased to function properly. Nonetheless, resourceful inhabitants have managed to breathe life into smaller fragments, cobbling together makeshift weaponry and clanking war machines infused with magic and ingenuity. History Life amongst ruins Hailing from a Monkey Goblin clan that dwelled amidst the remnants of a grand machine, Krez faced the challenge of sustenance in their unconventional habitat. Although they had access to water from the depths of the ruins, procuring food proved to be a formidable task, even by goblin standards of "food". Assigned the role of a scavenger, Krez was among those regularly dispatched into the wilderness to hunt and gather materials for the clan. Upon returning from one such expedition, he discovered that a band of marauders had forcibly expelled his clan from the ruins, leaving him and fellow scavengers bereft of support. Faced with a dire situation, some of the scavengers chose to align themselves with the marauders, while others, including Krez, dispersed in different directions, carried away by the whims of fate. Introduction to the wider Multiverse and becoming a Realmwarden Krez spent the next few months wandering. Then, one day, he happened to spot something most unusual: A man in strange clothing stepping out from a hole in the air. Deciding to shadow this... Traveller, he would follow the unusual man for the next week, observing his activities from afar. Other than the unusual means of their arrival, however, there didn't seem to be much interesting about the man. Before Krez got bored of just following this weird traveller, however, the man arrived in the makeshift camp he had set up while watching. "So, you're the one who's been following me since I arrived? Curious. What are the chances I run into another Gatewalker when I came to catalogue this world..." "...The hell's a gatewalker?"
