Traits: I can't bring myself to trust most adults. Ideal: Empathy. No creature should be made to suffer Bond: I do what I can to protect the natural world Flaw: I easily lose track of time. My poor sense of time means I'm always late. Description: Artiya doesn't quite understand the world around her. She speaks as one who belonged to a society that most can not begin to fathom. She can be gentle and polite one moment and violent the next for slights that few comprehend. Backstory: Artiya’s parents threw her into the sea, during a tempest, the tempest was caused by a convergence with the elemental plane of water and Artiya was sent there. She was rescued by a great creature of the waves and lived in the elemental plane of water. She came from the waves and has been in fascinated by the carnival. Perhaps the creature knew what was to come or perhaps its reasons for sending her are beyond most mortal ken.

Ideal: Open. I have much to learn from the kindly folk I meet along my way. Bond: I would die to recover a relic of my faith. Flaw: Once I pick a goal, I become obsessed with it to the detriment of everything else in my life. Appearance: Raven black hair, blue eyes, and nearly always perfectly coiffed. She stands just above five foot and looks ageless and beautiful. History: Talariel was raised in Qualinost with stories of the gods. She found herself drawn to the ancient temple of Mishakal and would pray there every day. She learned from the few servants of the goddess and became obsessed with the faith. Obsessed with the idea that her goddess was still trying to speak to the mortal races. She traveled the lands seeking out every shrine, every temple of the goddess, she spent centuries of her life in distant lands just trying to find any iota of Mishakal. With every failure her faith only grew and recently it has been rewarded. She feels the light of Mishakal now and is determined to spread the faith. Once, long ago, Talariel and Ispin defended a community from a notorious band of goblin raiders.

Name: Silanea Wrynridge Race: Drow Age: 250 Level: 3 Class: Wizard Subclass: Evocation Background: Sage/Librarian Personality Traits: I use polysyllabic words that convey the impression of great erudition. Ideal: There is no such thing as Evil Knowledge. All knowledge can be used to benefit sentient beings in some way. Bond: My life's work is a series of tomes related to Evocation. Flaw: Most people scream and run when they see a demon. I stop and take notes on its anatomy. Appearance: A lovely dress that emphasizes her beautiful dark skin. Her purple eyes shine with intelligence. Her whitish blonde hair speaks to a heritage that comes from a high elf parent somewhere along the line. Her delicate glasses perfectly frame her face, show off her purple eyes, and are often fiddled with by her delicate and perfectly manicured fingers. Backstory: Silanea was a top student at Sorcere in a Drow City. She was never interested in the politics and backstabbing of the place, just the knowledge within the books. The Library was her go to place to be alone and avoid the dark plots of other members of Sorcere. This worked for quite a number of years until she became a source of knowledge that most young students would come to. She was a powerful mage without any alliances or favor and suddenly numerous factions wanted to see her dead. She had enough of slaying her kin again and again as time went on and finally just decided to up and leave. She made her way to the surface and the city of Xorhas. Here, in Xorhas, she helps out the local library and provides information and assistance, often offering her services without any favor or care as to faction, alignment, or purpose. All she cares about is advancing her own knowledge and the needs of the Library. Thus, she often, finds herself outside the library and in the thick of adventuring life.
