  1. Lastolva blinks, and switches into 'bot' mode. "Mail? Me?" The goat-construct looks around. "I don't have that many people who I would think would send me mail. I'll have to check that out."
  2. Just going to roll the dice and see if anything interesting happens. Oh, a really good spread, let me think about this.
  3. "Worried we were being set-up." Lastolva states brusquely. "Kid seemed like convient bait."
  4. "Let's hope for more then." Lastolva quietly states. "And maybe the most radical dream will come true."
  5. Latolva wants to say something to the man, but sighs and decides it isn't worth the effort just yet.
  6. Lastolva snickers at Pirela's statement, but does not disagree.
  7. Lastolva sighs. "Yeah, let's call this in and head to our post for now. Maybe someone at base knows where this child should be."
  8. Lastolva charges forward. "Did you find something?"
  9. Lastolva is a little loss at at how to deal with a child this young. He hadn't had a lot of contact with children in his period between Awakening and essentially being co-opted by the Church. With a scratch at the base of his horn, Lastolva lets his Metal Carapace lapse, causing his armor and shield to collapse into rust dust. After the armor finishes collapsing, Lastolva switches back into his goat form, though once again, no one would be mistake Lastolva for anything but a goat statue.
  10. "Let's get back to our posts. I want to make sure this wasn't here to draw us out of position."
  11. Lastolva doesn't dismiss his armor immediately, but does put his shield away. "So, do you think that was an attack against the 'guards' in general, or one of us specifically?" The mecho/clokwork goat rotates along his shoulders in 'stretch'. "I mean, I'd be flattered if I was being targeted, but appearances aside not that many people know I exist."
  12. Sorry, my depression has been kicking my ass last week. I managed to partially break a loop on Thursday, and I was catching up on other things. Hoping I don't end up back in it today.
  13. "Rust take it!" Lastolva shouts, "Of course it's cold iron. My fluids are too hot for that!" The goat charges up the monster. With the the goat reshapes himself into a humanoid from. As he does armor forms over his vulnerable parts (though a closer look will determine the armor is of low-quality rusted metal.) and a shield of similar metal forms on one arm. With a smash, Lastolva forms a sword which he strikes with. Hit or miss, the blade shatters with the force of the swing. Show this There's a lot going on here, and some of it is a little out of order to make it look better. First, as a Lastolva can move like a quadruped when his hands are empty (which they were at the start of combat.) As a free action, Lastolva switches to bipedal mode. As his first actual action, Lastolva to activate his kinetic aura. As part of that action Lastolva gets to make a . I put that off for a second, to form Lastolva's armor with . Getting back to the Kinetic Blast, Lastolva uses his feat to change the damage type of his attack to slashing and then attacks. ◆Stride ◇Mode change ◆Chanel Elements ◇ ◇Kinetic Blast ◆
  14. Lastolva is feeling a little suspicious about things around here. He's all up for saving a child, he just isn't entirely sure it is an actual child in danger and he is willing to be cautious until he determines the truth of things. 1d20+4
  15. The 'goat' slows down to keep at least two people together.
  16. Lastolva will do his best to follow along without drawing undue attention to himself.
  17. (While Lastolva believes he is acting like a goat, any failure to spot and identify him is more down to stealth.) (Edit: Of course the first roll I make is a...poor one.)
  18. It's been a while since I posted in Myth Weavers, and not really at all since the rebuild. Can anyone share the code for making the character posts like like that?
  19. Lastolva does what he has done every night. He takes advantage of the dark to hide his construction in the silhouette of a goat. What a goat is doing out at dusk eating, no one is entirely sure.
  20. Just a quick get together so we know what our characters do and can avoid such things like getting into each other charge lanes and the like. In-Combat: Lastolva is ultimately a switch-hitter. He is built to prefer melee, his damage is higher there, but he can freely switch between them. Out-of-combat: Here Lastolva is very physical, Athletics is his highest skill. He certainly isn't a bad crafter, and can disarm/pick locks as well, but as his dexterity is not super-high, anyone else with those skills would probably do better. Lastolva is capable of 'printing' on demand any relatively small and simple tool or weapon, as long as it can be made entirely out of metal. Character-wise: Lastolva sounds old, but his word choice is young. He is a big fan of Saturday Morning cartoons, particularly the Transformers, and has some strong opinions on the state of French animation.
  21. 1. I have no problem with Milestone leveling. Just let me know when. 2. You are going to have to hint pretty hard here. Most of my Pathfinder 2e experience is in PFS, where running is almost never an option. 3. Lol, maybe I should have gone with the Bastion archetype after all. -- 1. Graphic description is fine. Or at least more cartoonie description. 2. Lastolva as a person is a crafter first and foremost, who would almost rather be in a forge making anti-demon weapons. As a character on a record sheet, his out-of-combat utility at this level is...low. He has some sure, but kineticists are not a high skill class. 3. Lastolva doesn't know much about his pre-awakening past. He thinks he is some sorcerer's personal project (perhaps a combat unit that repurposed), but he has know idea if he was abandoned days, or centuries, before he awoke.
  22. I'm pretty old, so I was around for the original Castlevania games. My local library let you rent NES (and other) games for free, so I never actually owned one until Symphony of the Night. Since then I've only played the full RPG ones, and have only played through a couple, but they are fun games. Now a days my reflexes probably aren't good enough to beat one without a lot of frustration, and 3D games of that era tend to give me vertigo, but I still have nostalgia for them.
  23. I've set Lastolva for finished. I still like what he could do with Bastion archetype, but Fiend Slayer does make thematic sense.
