  1. Sorry dax, misunderstood and thought we were all moving towards the other room after healing. I've made Kuz'Arak's stealth roll so we dont waste that nat 20 on the recall of the Nightmare
  2. Kuz'Arak moves quietly towards the door following Nalah to take a peek for himself. He peers into the room and quickly makes his way back when Nalah motions back towards the group. Stealth Kuz'Arak nods as she describes the hag, his brow furrowing as he listens. When she begins to explain what the Nightmare is, he is quick to interject. "Ah, Nalah I believe you are mistaken... That is certainly a nightmare. I would not be mistaken seeing such a creature. It is quite a dangerous foe." Also, at least at first, you can't be aided in this role. She has to come to respect you (at 7 successes). That -4 non-goblin penalty is because she pretends to not understand you. It goes down by 1 for every two successes. Crits count as 2 successes and crit fail subtract 1. Please remind me.
  3. Recall knowledge nature Studying the strange horse, Kuz'Arak realizes quickly what it is... "A Nightmare. Flaming harbingers of death. Spread out, it can trample over us easily if we stay together!" Kuz'Arak quickly reveals the information that he knows about the Nightmare, hoping that someone else will be able to identify the humanoid in the room Nightmare -Smoke: The nightmare continually exhales black smoke that creates concealment in an aura around it. - Flaming Gallop: Its hooves do flame damage to all in its path. - Fly - Darkvision - Resist Fire -Can use Plane Shift for self and rider Actions Remaining Vital Beacon 4d10 4d8 4d6 4d4 Kajimara's Training Day 1- Success! 4. Sorry about the delay all! Been absolutely slammed at work this last week and have had no time after work to check in and make a post. I've got healing up! Spent 20 and so long as everyone refocuses in the first 10, lay on hand to Hamaar and Nalah, then refocuses during the second 10 we should be all full with all focus points Also Dax, unsure what Kyros' total is in the last post. It looks like he has become a god at 833 out of 123 hit points 😅
  5. Kuz'Arak sighs as Kajimara continues to attempt to savage the inert willow. He places a reassuring hand on Kyros shoulder, noticing for the first time his trepidation near the warg. He smiles to his friend, "I am sorry for her behavior Kyros, please let me handle this. I'm afraid I've spent so much time with Bul'ro I seem to have neglected his sister's training." He steps up to the warg as she continues to bite and slash at it's bark. Knowing that Kajimara had been spending much time with the goblins and seemed to speak it more than common, Kuz'Arak practices his rusty goblin to try to gain some favor with the warg. In Goblin "Kajimara that is enough! You will retreat back with us while we tend to our wounds. Come on now!" "It appears as if it has been turned from its original use then. Such sad devastation to a once so holy place. We'll need to make sure that we return here and sanctify it again to the sleeper before long. Shall we investigate what is in the southern room? There might be something useful there. Otherwise I believe we'd best press on through the gate" Actions Remaining Vital Beacon 4d10 4d8 4d6 4d4 Kajimara's Training Day 1- Success! 6. Kuz'Arak orders Kajimara to fall back as Garion is extricated from the tree's clutches. He stands firm, ready to aid Kyros if the thing is able to grasp him as he attempts to disable it. 7. Kuz'Arak tries to help Garion clean the desecration as well, knowing the importance to Desna to both the gnome and Drasil. He keeps a watchful eye on Kajimara as he does this though, knowing that she still needs to learn how the group operates. He hopes that she doesn't wander off on her own anywhere. Following the group into the next room, the iruxi is surprised by the tree suddenly coming to life and grabbing at Garion. He looks at the tree, studying it for anything unusual that might free Garion. He spots the Strange disc shaped indentation in the tree, and begins searching the room for anything that looks as if it might fit it. (Use a seek action on north side of the room) He feels confident that if something is there he will see it, and point it out to his allies. 8. Great thanks! I think it works really well to have that swap out then. I've added the other warg token to the map and switched up the warg art for Kujimara
  9. Alright, Sorry Kuz'Arak would have gone through the previous night and filled Hamaar and Nalah on the groups plans. I've posted a bit in the gameplay channel, but theres more information on page 13-15 as well. Also, Regarding the Wargs! I think that Kuz'Arak is feeling worried about Kajimara's lack of discipline. I think he is happy with how much Bul'Ro has learned while travelling with the group, and hopes to do the same kind of "on the job" training with Kajimara as well. If everyone is okay with it, I'll bring her along and hopefully get her a bit of training and discipline 😅 I'm thinking this would be mostly just a flavor swap, so keeping Bul'ro's stats and such. But I'd expect Dax might throw a few nature checks in to see if she listens to me like with Bul'ro early on
  10. Once Garion, Kyros, and Drasil have returned and Kuz'Arak has made introductions to the other members of the Breachill Bravos, he would explain the groups plans in going after the Scarlett triad. "We have found repeated evidence that the Scarlet Triad is involved with Elsetta's ring somehow. They certainly have an interest in it... Just last night, some thugs tried to extort us into giving them the notes of one of their allies that we had chased out of town. There was also some evidence that the group was connected to what happened with the cinderclaws. And so after interrogating one of the more wise thugs from last nights excitement, we learned that they were supposed to bring these notes to a Gnoll named Laslunn at the Sunset Imports in Kintargo. We know that we can use Alsetta's ring to open a gate near Kintargo and so it is our plan to use the ring to travel there and deal with this Laslunn. We know he is a leader of the Scarlet Triad, but beyond that we don't have any motives behind his interest in the rings. Supposedly the triad has begun dealing in slave trade, so they may be hungry to expand their import and export to the entirety of Golarion by using this network of gates..." Kuz'Arak shudders at the thought (Page 13 to 15 of the gameplay channel has this info if you want to read the full conversation. Kuz'Arak would have supplied you with all of that information once the others had returned.) The next day, Kuz'Arak prepares to leave with the others. He pulls Bul'Ro aside before they descend down to the gates. "Bul'Ro, I am proud of the strong warrior that you have grown into in our travels together. But I am worried about your sister. She seems to grow rambunctious and... dangerous without the proper care and training. I believe it would be best for her to accompany us on this next leg of our journey. I feel much better knowing that you will be here to guard the citadel. Especially if this Triad sends more thugs into Breachill. I will entrust the safety of our home to you, if you would see it fit to guard." Kuz'Arak hesitantly broaches the subject of Bul'ro staying behind, hoping that after all of his training, the young warg will have the wisdom to know he would be helpful here. If Bul'ro agrees, Kuz'Arak thanks him before going off in search of Kajimara in hopes that she might still be trained as part of the groups adventure. Once passing through the gates, Kuz'Arak studies the strange waypoint they find themselves in Religion 1 Perception Religion 2 Kuz'Arak frowns as he recognizes that the room once belonged to the worship of Desna, knowing that both Drasil and Garion follow the dreamer, the Iruxi places a reassuring hand on Garion's Shoulder. 11. Kuz'Arak's grimaces as Kujimara goes on the offensive so quickly, but is relieved when Bul'Ro intercedes. "Bul'Ro, Please take your sister back up to the courtyard. I'll have words with you yet you unruly warg, but for now I must see to our new friend." The iruxi listens to Nalah's story, surprised that there was another group attempting to take down the cinderclaws as well. As warmly as the druid can he addresses her.. "Please, there is no need to be defensive. The bravos are the ones who destroyed the cinderclaw cult in the Mwange, but it appears we had aid from you and your group as well. We may not have been successful if it had not been for your actions before we faced the cult leader. I thank you for your efforts, though saddened to hear your group has disbanded. I am sure that traveling through the gate means you interacted with the elves guarding the other side of this portal? If so then you would know that we are the ones who aided them and mean no harm to any who would help us fight our foes, as it seems they spring up like weeds of late. Please, Tum, relax. This is a guest of honor, there will be no need for suspicion in their presence. Now if you would be so kind, what is your name mighty warrior? Ah, Nalah. Glad to have met you. And please, let us move above and find a more comfortable place to wait. The others are away at the moment, but I'm sure they will bring news from the Breachill council shortly. We shall await their arrival." He bows and motions for everyone to follow him upstairs to the dining room where he offers tea and refreshments to both Hamaar and Nalah while they await the rest of the Bravos to return Actions Remaining Vital Beacon 4d10 4d8 4d6 4d4
  12. Kuz'Arak's face grows concerned as the goblins bring word of a new visitor down below. He nods to hamaar as the dwarf is settling into his new abode. "Well Hamaar, it seems your services might come in handy already... Let us move below before the goblins take things too far and start a brawl. There's still one thing that I have yet to show you in the Citadel. A little secret that you'll have to learn of sooner rather than later if you are to become one of our number." Kuz'Arak whistles for Bul'Ro and he makes his way down to the ring with the warg in tow. Once below he cautiously approaches as to not frighten the newcomer. "Welcome friend, I am Kuz'Arak of the Breachill Bravos... Please, what is your name? And may I ask, how did you come to travel the ring and find yourself here in our humble citadel?" He puts the questions forward cautiously and as friendly as he can, hoping to assess the danger of the strange newcomer Actions Remaining Vital Beacon 4d10 4d8 4d6 4d4
  13. Kuz'Arak follows along as Tum gives the grand tour of the citadel with a pensive look on his face. He is obviously concerned and deep in thought with how to deal with the rambunctious Kajimara, given that she has had difficulty with discipline while he has been away Actions Remaining Vital Beacon 4d10 4d8 4d6 4d4
  14. Welcome in SuperBidi! Agree with scott on this one, play what you want to and we'll work around it. We've got a very decently balanced party at the moment so adding one more to the front wont be too out of place!
  15. Kuz'Arak asks one of the goblin guards, "Have you seen Tum today?" Once they've checked in with Tum, Kuz'Arak would realize that he missed the meeting time. "Oh, uh... All this excitement and training this morning and it seems that I've missed the meeting time for the summons. Well the rest will be back soon enough I'm sure and they can fill us in. While we wait for them I'll give you the tour of the Citadel." Kuz'Arak would show Hamarr around the citadel and introduce him to the goblins and anyone else who is making it their home currently until the others return from the meeting.
