  10. Hi! I would love to venture into Ravenlotf themes in D&D. That's my original plan with this monster hunter girl, with inspiration from both Witcher and Castlevania. Lovecraft too sounds enticing. Sci-fi doesn't fish me quite yet. Perhaps after reading about the game I'll get riled up? Posting wise I'm quite frequent. I check the forum daily.

Some rest wouldn't hurt. During daytime, Sarah would spend an hour gathering the herbs needed for what she had planned, and the rest of the afternoon brewing a concoction to alleviate pain in general. She made it in the form of a cream. It was a gift for Hanna. Something she would find useful. At night they could finally sleep. Well, mostly. Sarah had a light sleep. It was terrible for resting properly, but at least it kept her aware of her surroundings. The dog barking was enough to snap her out of her sleep, some hasty footsteps and then the dog silenced. That was enough to jolt her from her bed, grabbing her equipment. She took a torch from her bag of holding and lit it at the lantern inside the barn. She would leave the light for the others, but she did touch anyone not awake to make them aware of the strange situation. Being a monster hunter means putting yourself in danger. Whatever that moved in could endanger the citizens of that hamlet, and Sarah couldn't allow that. With her crossbow in one hand and the torch in another, she left the barn, following the noise, or the absence of it. Upon realizing what was going on, there wasn't much left to do but to put these monsters to rest. Was it undead or demonic creatures? Anyways she tossed the torch forward to provide more light where her foes were and touched her insignia of Lady Heart by her neck. "Bless my hunt tonight against the dark, Lady Heart." Upon marking her quarry, she fires the crossbow.
  17. I also got a natural 20 on the knowledge check. I believe Sarah knows everything about them, but I (the player) don't. Would you mind giving me the info? Sarah will probably share it with the others as she sees fit. I try to fit my combat dialog within 3 to 6 seconds.
  18. I already did it from the moment I created a character sheet. I was only able to do that on a PC, because I was failing miserably to do so on mobile. On this battle, Sarah isn't at point blank range from the enemies. She approached enough for her torch to cast light on them (and she was able to actually see them) and then she halted and fired (and missed miserably, fumbling, jamming and losing the second attack). I just checked: "A torch burns for 1 hour, providing bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light for an additional 20 feet" Sarah get up to 30 ft, threw the torch towards the creatures to see them better, and attempted the shots at maximum range for a hand crossbow.

  21. , , , , We are all worried about disappearance and loss of communication. In the hopes everything has a silly explanation and he's alright, I talked to and he agreed to at least take over the battle. This way the game doesn't die out of inactivity. Let's get this on track and ready for when Aspekt is back.

  23. Understood. Is "Resistances/Weakness/Immunity" one single field? I'll chose it. If not, I want weakness. I'll go roll on my post. EDIT: I wish those two natural 20s were both on the attacks. Sigh. Life sucks. At least Sarah IS good at what she was supposed to be good at: knowing thy enemy.
  24. I still don't know what to roll. 1 or 2 dice? Which ability? Add proficiency? A skill?
  25. Leave that to me ;) lol , is the enemy undead? It's Sarah's favored enemy. What can I roll to get information on them?
