They could've all gone home together. Her power buoyed by Baldric's own would carry the day. He was dead now and Remy had fallen to the thing she'd been trying to help her resist. That hope was shattered and Eithne's spell fizzled in her hand before she could even cast it. She was tired of seeing horrors end the lives of people that didn't deserve it. Austin's cry brought Eithne out of her slump. She didn't wipe away her tears. Instead, she dove in close to the Plague Lady, hoping to by the wizard time to get some distance. One was just a hair's breadth slower than the other, and that's the one he singled out. Mace in hand, Paaras closed the distance in an instant and rang the fox's head with a blow that might have been too eager. Still, he rode the momentum and synched his newfound ki with the beast and tried to bring it to heel. The follow up blow was just to remind it how much of a poor decision it'd made. Mechanics I think Paaras can reach the southern most fox with his movement of 40 ft. He uses a flurry of blows, spending a ki point. Whichever attack hits first will impose the prone condition on the fox if it fails a DEX DC 14. Still not certain how the mace is magic, so tell me if I need to adjust anything.

They had to divest the Plague Lord from it... I dropped their rolls to 1 each so the radiant damage is 18.

Her tendrils were too dangerous to ignore. Eithne summoned more flame to her hand and tried to nail her with the simple fireball. "Let's get her out of the way Remy." Focused on where she was and what she needed to do. She had to clear the path to the lord, no matter what. While Troben used his echo to suppress what ever the twisted man an his rag doll mockery of her friend, she focused on the insectoid that blocked his path. She'll move 25 ft. to the west and cast at 3rd level on Cain. I'm assuming a 31 soft crits. If it doesn't, then I split up the damage. Either 60 radiant or 26. She'll use woe on an attack that she can prevent from landing on her or someone nearby with her reaction. Does disease damage require a concentration check?

Her answer was more resolute than her constitution. As she was infested with disease and felt her form twisting from the inside, the words that issued from her void said all that needed to be said. "No." An image of a distant memory formed in her head. A lonely shore with a beached dolphin on its sands, trapped there by the receding water. Pointing her staff, she shared that memory and enveloped the largest of their opponents in the same magic she used to change herself. Eithne loses the temp HP I forgot to roll last time and takes a total of 10 damage on her actual HP from the blast, the leprosy, and the poison air. In turn, she will move 20 ft, cast on the Bloat, and use the rest of her boosted movement to back up Troben. DC 17 WIS save. If it succeeds, the Bloat will take the form of a dolphin. A beached dolphin. If it doesn't, she'll skirt the Bloat's reach for a space near to where she'd at.

  12. I've been thinking on that. We should probably use the empowering orbs while we're at it. That sounds like a decent amount of buffs to go into the fight with. Eithne's plan requires her to have her concentration free. Otherwise, it'll be her duo of taking on her starry form (dragon this time) and activating her owl cloak.

Honestly, the restoration orb felt wonderful as well. The air quality still served to ruin the moment. With a slightly lighter pack, a little bit of strategy needed to be decided. "The Plague Lord is certainly going to be prepared for us with guards and the like, just like the Frost Lord. I can possibly remove one of his guards from the fight and give our warriors a direct path to him. But how should be go about removing the other guards in a timely manner? We don't want to get stuck in a pincer movement." Mechanics Eithne takes a greater healing potion and uses her restoration orb to get back a 3rd Lv and a 1st Lv spell slot. Baldrick gets 2 greater healing potions. Tiberon gets a greater healing potion. Remy gets a healing potion. Vrod gets a healing potion.

The hit felt solid and she powered through the aversion she felt in doing so. Channeling a fraction of a meteor's power, she rocketed towards the "ground" the remaining three stood on. The sticky flesh and fluid was going to soften her blow, she knew this, but even a feather blow seemed like it could snuff out a fake and sniff out the real Mourne. Mechanics Starry Form: 2.3 minutes remaining Owl Cloak Wings: 3 rounds Protection from Evil and Good on Vrod: 4.4 minutes Eithne uses her arrow attack against the furthest Mourne. Then she moves in close enough to target the three other Mournes with a thunderclap. DC 17 CON save. Not certain how to handle the wisdom save for an area of effect attack that would hit all three at once. I know the spell has trouble against area of effect, but she still have to intend to hit them with it. Dunno. I rolled at least one save just in case for it.
