  1. Early life Most nights in Greenbend are bucolic and peaceful. A small village near New Vale, the humans of Greenbend spend their time growing grains and beans in the fields, caring for their goats and chickens, and brewing a nutty ale to drink with their friends and families. But tonight was not that typical a night in Greenbend. Emma Bluestone was giving birth. Emma and Thomas Bluestone had married a number of years ago, but had remained childless for some time. Families in farming villages like Greenbend need youths to do the innumerable, mundane chores necessary to daily farm life. The Bluestone's inability to concieve was a concern for their whole extended family and a deep, silent worry for the young couple. But Emma and Thomas lived with smiles on their faces and warmth in their hearts, as they prayed to any being that would listen for a child to share their love with. One night, Emma dreamt of a great bear. The bear had mossy green fur and eyes that shone like stars; it walked to her and into her, vanishing in the side of her torso. She then wore its fur and held a child with those same eyes, deep and dark and filled with countless shining suns. When Emma woke, she knew that she was pregnant. Tonight, Emma's piercing cries filled the air. The birth was difficult and painful. The baby wanted to come out but was early - much, much too early. Emma was bleeding far too much. It was not clear that she would survive. Thomas paced outside the door, his large farmer's hands working out his worry into a piece of wood. But as Emma labored, a soft, radiant light began to emanate from her body. It bathed the entire room in a soothing, golden glow. At the moment of birth, the light intensified, shining as bright as the noonday sun. When the baby was born, the midwife saw that both mother and baby were perfectly healthy, and the healing light faded as the cries of their newborn filled the room. When the baby finally came, he came large and healthy and wholly ordinary. Emma named him Hammon.
  2. Human Exemplar 1. All details are WIP! Sheet will be updated soon. Background: farmhand Body Icon: Scar of the Survivor Weapon Icon: Noble Branch (fighting stick) Worn Icon: Palisade Bangles Exemplar Class Feat 1: Sanctified Soul (holy) At second level, Free Archetype: Blessed One Greenbend is the name of his home village. ________ My preliminary background for this character is that the collective spirit fragments embodying the principle of "zest for life / opposition to death and undeath / protect the small and vulnerable / preserve life / CG Life domain" would generally not want themselves to be dead in the first place, and repeatedly embody in a small child with a big heart to, well, live again. And that this may occur again and again and again, until this principle has grown sufficiently in power and collective experience to become a True God (whatever that means). The preliminary accompanying backstory for the character is pretty basic: a human boy born in to a poor family in a small farming village alongside a distant stretch of the Many Rivers. He grew from a small boy into a beefy young adult, who always tries to do the right thing and will always put his life on the line to protect other living beings. Subconsciously, this character does not really believe in the possibility of his death despite being fully mortal. As such, he is dramatically reckless and hotheaded. Think "Disney's young Hercules before being trained by Phil, but with DBZ Goku's appetite and (lack of) intellect." Just a big dumb himbo golden retriever of a guy.
  3. Thanks! I'm also happy to update my build once the playtest concludes and the official version comes out. That is a really cool character concept!
  4. How do you feel about playtest content? I'm itching to give Exemplar a go. For your reference see the playtest doc attached. 5. Like I'd love to still have the opportunity to submit a sheet and play
  6. Are you OK with playtest material? I want to roll an Exemplar to give it a try.
  7. Well it looks like I missed the deadline and didn't get a sheet in for submission. Oops. But you still added me to the game? Was that a mistake?
  8. WIP Exemplar: scar of the survivor, noble branch, palisade bangles Azarketi (Mistbreath OR River OR Tactile tbd) Borderlands Pioneer background Free Archetype: Staff Acrobat (probably)   OR maybe Catfolk Exemplar? Hm.   Still working on the exact concept. Preliminarily: the character is a big brash himbo idiot, a baby demigod (think Disney Hercules before training with Phil) out to Prove Himself. Chaotic Good. Looking to do some good and fight some monsters to build a reputation.
  9. I see that we are using the Free Archetype optional rule. Are all characters encouraged to take a specific archetype, or are characters just getting any second archetype for free?
  10. Str/Dex based monklike character with light armor and martial weapon proficiencies, a suite of class-specific feats and a set of at-will abilities that must be cycled / cannot be used twice in a row. Interesting stuff! Can be found here: https://paizo.com/pathfinderplaytest   I am 100% on board with retrofitting the character to comply with the published version. Thank you! I'll put in a build in the near future
  11. Great, thanks! I would be very happy to change the character to fit with the actual character once it leaves playtest. I'll put a build down soonish.
  12. The new "War of the Immortals" 2e playtest dropped today and I really want to give Exemplar a playthrough. Can I roll that class in your game? Thank you!
  13. The new "War of the Immortals" 2e playtest dropped today and I really, really want to give Exemplar a go. Can I roll that class? Thank you!
  14. woah woah really? where do you girls go to school? I'm in Binghamton, if you're also (unlikely) there, then we should get a small one-shot IRL before finals. and who's BJM?

andddddddddddddddddd damn. if Daen's issues are of a negative nature, I send my condolences and well-wishes; I also wish you much luck in entering the real world IRL (lol), I heard it's pretty hard out there... what field are you going in to?
