  1. In front of the temple waiting for her compatriots, was a familiar figure, bright pink and bubbly. Selki stood, waiting for her friends to arrive. She was dressed in a smart deep navy suit, a new pair of rimmed glasses, and a neat wavy pull back hairdo. She looked around, eagerly, one hand tucked into a pocket and the other wrapped around a jumbo slush drink she picked up on the way to the arena. Selkiara, mild-mannered citizen, simply waiting to watch the fights with her friends. She double-checked that she still had her entry ticket for her seat, which she bought along with the seating tickets for any of her friends who accepted the offer. She slid the tickets back into her pocket with a smile, "Close enough to get a piece of the action." she joked to herself, chuckling before taking a big pull from her jumbo slush.

If you survive the event that caused your near death your power-up is Multiplied. Roll 1d6; on a 4 or lower the multiplier is 1.5, on a 5 the multiplier is 2 and on a 6 the multiplier is a 3. Magic When you take this trait you lose your power level stat completely and in its place, you can summon magical energy. You can do with magical energy everything you can do with Ki but instead of the energy coming from inside you, you use the energy of the universe around you. When you take a Power Up action, you are limited to three times your power up score in chargeable power. The number of times you can summon magical energy to power up is without limit. This trait costs 2 slots. Weakness (Easily Distracted): In the presence of certain stimuli (High Quality Food) (High Quality Clothing), Selki finds it difficult to keep herself focused. Over time her stats will suffer if she is near one of her objects of attraction. Her stats revert to normal either at the acquisition or removal of the stimulant. Powers, Techniques, and Weapons Matter Creation - You can create material things your are familiar with. You must have knowledge of the matter you wish to create in order to create it. For every 10 power level you spend you can create 10 lbs of matter. This ability can not be used to create complex things like guns, watches, scouters, or anything like that. It is mainly used to create simple items like clothes, weights, swords, baskets, cups and the like. Flight: Once learned flight cost 10 power level to use then 10 power level per round to maintain. Cotton Candy Crush - Blast, Max Power 450 Pumpkin Pie Panacea: Heal & Restore For every 40 PL you spend you can restore 10 hit and 10 PL. Sugar Rush: Increase your Damage score by 1 point for 40 Power. Grease the Pan: Increase your Move Attribute by 1 for 60 Power. Double Cheeseburger: Gain an extra Melee Attack for 100 Power and double the Energy cost with each additional attack. Combat Boost: Temporarily raise your Combat Attribute by 1 point at the cost of 50 Power. Reflex Boost: Temporarily raise your Initiative CAT by 1 point at the cost of 20 Power. Super Strength: Use your power to strengthen your muscles and allow you to perform feats of strength. You can raise your Physical Attribute by 1 at the cost of 50 Energy. This increase to Physical is only used to determine how much weight you can lift or how far you knock back or throw an opponent; this does NOT increase your Damage score. Rock Candy: Fire an invisible Ball of Energy. - Max Energy Cost: 250 - Knockback: This Attack has a Knockback value equal to its Energy cost divided by 10; Max Knockback value 25. Deflection - Max Power: 450 Multi-Form: Create duplicates of yourself at the cost of your Power Up value worth of Energy. Your copies have the same stats as you, but only have one Power Up worth of Energy to use; the Energy it took to make them. You can create a maximum of five clones at one time. You may roll their initiative at the end of the Round they were created. Once your duplicates run out of Power, they are expended and disappear. You may regain the power invested into your duplicates by reabsorbing them. If you would ever drain your Power to zero by using this ability, then you have four Phases (one round from the time you first use the ability) before you fall unconscious, or manage to regain a portion of the Power you spent on a clone. - Multi-Form must be activated as an Action. - With Magic Energy, you don't run the risk of exhausting yourself using Multi-Form. However, your Clones will only have access to the amount of Energy they were made with; they don't have infinite Energy like you do. Energy Sensing Powers Detect Life: Sense Energy, as a Spell. Selki can telepathically sense the energy of living things; Ki. Read Life-Force: Like Read Energy, but only applying to Ki users. Detect Magic: You can sense Magical Energy. It's rare now-a-days but, when you find it, you know what it feels like. Read Magical-Force: Like Read Energy, but for Magic users. Conceal: Hide Energy. This would work like Hide Energy for Ki users, essentially concealing even your base life force from being detected by Sense Energy or Scouters and the like. She speaks with proper prose is well-versed in etiquette, extraordinarily nice. She has a well-defined weakness for the finer things in life. Especially food and attire. It is a common site to see her wander into the fashion or culinary districts wherever she roams, something that would often elicit negative responses from an easily spooked public. Background: Selki does not quite know where it is she came from, or why. Her memory before landing on earth would be foggy, at best, shrouded in mystery. Since awakening on the strange blue pearl she has spent most of her time attempting to fit in with higher society and reap the rewards of all which would come with that. Though garnering a good reputation with the upper crust has so far eluded her, for one reason or another, she is resolute to unlock those echelons and open the doors to the finest of foods and the most fashionable of attires. Despite this, something gnaws at the back of her head, a pulling she cannot explain or place... Quirks: A woman who hungers, both literally and metaphorically for the best. She fancies herself a bon vivant and master gormond, even going so far as to dabble in making her own creations when able. [Selki's Travel Log] [SPOILER="Act 1"] Day 1 Today I set out on my whirlwind adventure, traveling the world in search of the hottest fashion, greatest foods and most elegant locales! After leaving home and setting North I came across a small camp with a peculiar woman. She spoke of odd powers, showed me strange and fascinating magics and conjured spectacular feats of energy. I hope to learn of these strange powers, study them and learn what they are, where they come from and how they are manifested. Whats more, she spoke of a strange artifact, an odd orb that, allegedly, when brought together with six others can grant the bearer any wish her or his heart desires. I intend to see this strange artifact for myself. Perhaps it will be a good day trip. Maybe there is even something to the legends of the wish granting properties. It has all in all been an exciting first day to my trip around the world! I did not expect this much excitement this quickly. Day 2 Dearest Diary, Momo and I have finally continued on and made it to North City. After a brief breakfast at a charming little restaurant, we finally made it to the workplace of her contact. He told us more about the Dragonballs as well as the upcoming World Tournament. I have decided, along with an interesting fellow and Momo, to pursue the Dragonballs, as well as a chance for a wish! After this meting I went to the Fashion Expo to meet with mother, who had not yet arrived.I went out for drinks and dancing with Milly and Meryl, two of the companies employees I have become fond of. It was then I caught sight of the most interestingly dressed man. I quickly followed and spoke with him, striking up a potential business arrangement that could just benefit us both. In return for his help in launching my newest line of sports wear, I will pull strings with mother to get him sponsored in the tournament under our banner Selki's Fashion Portfolio! (UNSPENT) From Nori Fight: Selki earns 10 AP and 10 Power-Up. Selki's HP was knocked below her Physical value, so Selki earns a Near Death Boost. Near Death Multiplier (4) Selki's current Power Up multiplies by 1.5 times. 560*1.5=840 (Ask about this*) Training Improvements - 22 AP: +2 Body, +5 Mind, +10 Power Skill, +5 Shock - Powers: Updated Rock Candy, raised Deflection Max by 100, added Multi-Form. 122 AP, if I'm reading your sheet right. There's a lot we can do with this, so I'll just lay out some general observations on your stats - Attributes: Mental and Combat are Above Average, so these are fine as they are. If you decide to raise Physical and Move, remember that you can only increase them by one point per Training session. - Skills: We'll do +10 to Fighting and Evasion to keep on the group average. Could do body if you want to bring your melee damage up. Of note, let's take a look at your Mental Attribute for a second. With your Mental Attribute of 30, you can technically spend 30 points into a single Skill. That's a little much, at least for keeping in range for the rest of the party in a PvP arc. Her Power Skill, however, we can play with a bit more. Matter of fact, you could take a page from Onryo's playstyle. His Combat Totals are relatively low (below average at most) and he compensates by using Boost Powers and his infinite energy(Kai Power) to increase them in combat. Does have a bit more micromanagement involved, if you're not into that. ○ Fighting: +10 ○ Evasion: +10 ○ Body: +20 ○ Power: +30. Increasing it just increases the amount of Energy you can spend on a Power when using it. This will really take advantage of a Blaster kind of build. This would also make your Boost Powers go higher than others, so us it wisely. ○ Total AP Spent: 70 - Values ○ Shock: either +10 for 20 AP or +20 for 40 AP. The latter brings your Shock to 100, which meets the cap. For reference, your Defense value changes when this goes up; the formula is (Shock+Body)/10. ○ HP: A nominal level compared to others. You can leave it as is if you want. ○ Power Up: Could at least spend 10 AP to increase it by 10, to a nice 850. Could go much higher if you want to focus on Energy output and take greater advantage of her infinite supply. - Powers: I'll fill out the rest of her basic powers, but might put a bit of flavor on some of them to reflect her using magic over ki. Let me know if you want to adjust any existing powers or create some new ones. ○ Detect Life: Sense Energy, as a Spell. Selki can telepathically sense the energy of living things; Ki. ○ Read Life-Force: Like Read Energy, but only applying to Ki users. ○ Detect Magic: You can sense Magical Energy. It's rare now-a-days but, when you find it, you know what it feels like. ○ Read Magical-Force: Like Read Energy, but for Magic users. ○ Conceal: Hide Energy. Combat Boost, Reflex Boost, and Super Strength: Works the same as they are listed in the Gameplay Guide.
