You can animate flesh and bone into undead servants with Provoke, starting at +3 difficulty. This has nothing to do with souls. (Relentless Training; Casting Skill: Lore) Mimic: You can can transform yourself with your casting skill, and transform others with Provoke. This is creating an advantage - you must be familiar with the resulting form, and changing portions of the target is easier than its entirety. You can also transform objects - mending, weakening, or altering their shape. [Cost: 1 Refresh] - Stunts - Animator: When you animate minions, they start with one +1 skill and a 1pt stress. You can also exchange any free invokes received for both a +1 skill and 1pt stress. If the minion has multiple +1 skills, they can be combined to increase their powers. So, if you exchange two free invokes, the minion receives 2pt stress and one +2 skill or two +1 skills. Brute-Force Arcana: When using a magical discipline to Overcome a situation, I can replace Any Skill with Lore by spending 1 Fate Point. Remnants of The Mage Markov's Mind:  When contacting the echo spirit of my master, I gain a +2 to Investigate when Creating an Advantage to Find or Discover a Monster's Weakness. Aerith pulls some bones out of his bag, resembling a small bird which should help with observation. As he focuses the energy he speaks. "Rise now songbird, blessed by your master with eyes of an eagle. Keep watch for us so we may be safe." It looks like he's doing well, but at the end the spell struggles to form, locking power with the natural inertia of death. "well... that isnt good"

And if damage is what he wanted, then if it's as if the gods themselves set aside whatever they were doing to make it so. Aerith's ring sucks in light around it as he charges up a ball of shadow. The troll looks at aerith with mortal fear in its eyes, knowing the wizard is about to strike it down hard. It tries to charge at the mage, but every step is blocked by The Curse of Skeletal Caltrops. It tries to outmanouver them, but it's hard when it's Dazed by Lightning and Paralyzed. it's Pushing through the pain already trying desperately to do anything to to save itself. In one last ditch effort to cling to life the troll rips a rock out of the ground to use as a makeshift shield, but fate was not on its side as the curse of Arcane Frailty made it slow to do so, the rock being lifted just AFTER the troll was pelted in the face by a blast of shadow, collapsing to the ground with [boost:] a face no more. Aerith breathes a sigh of relief, dismissing his many spells as he walks over to the beast, the dark smoke dispersing to reveal a clean skull, then looks to the others and asks. "I wonder if this troll would make a good bodyguard for us?"

Luckily the troll isn't exactly in top fighting ability as the Pained Eye causes it to have diffucilty seeing its target. The troll's tree comes within less than a meter of aerith's face before it stops short as a muscle spasm halts the swing, due to the troll being Dazed by Lightning. [Boost Pained Eye No longer Exists, Invoked Dazed by Lightning]

You'll be good to carry the bulk of our stuff right?" He casts the spell and grafts some wide-spanned skeletal wings on the back of lyra, with skin pulled over to make them resemble those of a bat, creating the advantage Fleshwarp: Bat Wings. Afterwards he does this to everyone else as well.

He charges the needle with the nectotic energy and sends it out towards the troll in a dazzling attack, aiming right for the eye of this beast. The needle hits its mark as the troll instinctively flinches, far too late as the splinter still landed, and gave the beast a Pained Eye [boost]

It's at this point the necromancer realizes the irony of this job, but decides that being in the same room as the guild leader is the wrong place to point it out. "He's working with orcs, we need to sneak around them instead of fight so they don't report to their master and make a bigger problem. It's just a recon mission."

The bones rise forward far more numerous than arcane frailty, seemingly rising under the troll as he steps. Aerith focuses on the troll, placing an astral mark on the foe for the spell to track, erupting a Curse of Skeletal Caltrops to interrupt its movement and make it constantly watch its steps. The caltrops strike hard and, in conjunction with Oleanna's lightning blast [spending the invoke] the caltrops fall exactly where they need to. Aerith didn't just succeed in slowing this thing down, he succeeded with style.

"Woe be upon ye, let your muscles grow backwards and your bones turn frail, weakness spread through your veins and into your very soul." As he says this, the ground underneath the troll quivers, and a rodent's skeleton erupts from the mud, then through the water, and finally floats to the surface, one of its ribs glowing with dark-red energy as it cracks off and flies towards the beast. It will barely hurt at all, the force is only that of a splinter, but the real danger is the curse placed upon it which would be injected directly into the monster. This curse will inflict Arcane Frailty to the beast, if only it lands.
