Okay, we'll do: Go Toe to Toe Tags: A Good Shot +1 Status: Dark and Stormy Night -1 He will focus on a combatant that Brianna or Allan are not actively engaging with. I'll choose one of them for now.

I don't know what the situation will look like when Declan gets out there, but the overall objective would be to provide covering fire for the two close quarters combatants to either get close or withdraw, as the situation demands. Heading out, the immediate concern would be to drive back attackers from Theo or Brianna if the situation is looking grim for them.

Declan L'estrange Declan watches Allan and Theo head outside then claps the balding man on the shoulder. "Alright, my man. Keep it up in here and I'll see what I can do about what's going on outside." Declan readies his pistols and heads outside.

Hrmm... I guess Declan can go over under the pretense of helping the bald man guide people out, keep an eye out and try to get some information from the man. He still seems to have known what was going on before anyone else (besides Theo). Do I have to run an investigation roll for it?

I have a question about Theo's power - in particular, prophecy. I assume that the prophecies are things that will happen without intervention from the playable characters? Not that they will happen no matter what the PCs do or that there's a chance that they might not happen even if the PCs don't do anything about it? So, they can stop prophecies from coming true? Are they maybe required to make prophecies come true as well?

Declan was worried about Brianna returning while a gun fight took place and wanted her to have a place to go and help. He figured Theo could do that well. He assumed Alan might be good to grab the singer, maybe evacuate people via microphone. But, Theo's ability might be better for it! Have Theo act as he sees best.

At the moment, he intends to engage the man to see what he's nervous about, or, if the man moves, to tail him if he can. They don't know who he is yet, but he's clearly in the know of some things going on here. I should say, though, that while Declan is attempting to manage the situation, if Allan or Theo believe they are better to go after the man or do something different, Declan would go along with it.

Well maybe they headed out as she took off and someone who is fast can go after her? They are faced with a decision tho: do they try to save the people at the bar from the shooting, do they go after Brianna or do they split and try to do both? If the last one, Declan seems best fit for a gunfight as he has guns (not sure if Theo or Allan do) but Brianna may be a higher priority. Maybe they can call the police and report suspicious activity at the bar?

Seems like they should be on their way out but I'm not sure if they can do anything if the killing process has already started even if they get there in time...

Declan L'estrange "Yeah, no doubt," Declan said as he glanced at the paper in Theo's hand. "About how much time do you think we have? I don't want more people caught in any crossfire than needs to be."

Well, according to Theo's paper, there's to be a shooting at the club. Because of this, Declan is trying to get the rest of the group to join Brianna so they don't get caught in any crossfire, should it erupt. He doesn't necessarily mean to abandon the club to its fate, but if everyone is together, they can formulate a plan to engage with it effectively.

Declan L'estrange Declan returned as Brianna left, giving her a peculiar look. Glancing at the article he took on a grim look. "We got a lead at the docks. A cleaner called "Harry"," Declan said. "Let's check on Brianna. If that's for tonight, we shouldn't be separated."

I had Declan indicate that he's asking the waiter for to liaison with anyone who might have a good word on the street so you've got flexibility in who, why or how the informant knows anything. Let me know if you'd like to approach it differently! But I don't think Declan is somebody who relies on his phone over more boots on grounds methods. You can pick one of the questions listed above! I'm not sure where to answer the sorrow question, so I'll add it as a spoiler here. Show this Declan's greatest sorrow was being betrayed by his closest friend when that friend inexplicably stole an artifact from him and vanished without a word.

Declan had always had a sweet tooth, something other men had attempted to shame him for. But he liked what he liked and wasn't about to try and change it to please anyone. "I'd also like to buy a drink for Mike, if he's around," Declan added, figuring he might as well do some looking while he was here. Mike was a cover name, of course, for whoever was around that had the word on the street.

I've got a migraine so I don't feel up to it tonight, but I think this might be a good setting for one of Declan's business collection rolls. I've never done this before so I expect I'll do something stupid when I roll it tomorrow - just let me know what to correct!
