  1. Lmao, might as well use the blood lust while we have it. I assumed that Allan could stop the bleeding with his gold ability, though? Maybe he can be saved.
  2. I second , seems unlikely we'd be able to accomplish everything at once. I know it's grisly, but I'm pretty sure I saw something about a battle-axe being around if the gold softening trick doesn't work. Otherwise, they would have to abandon the mercenary.
  3. Yeah I can add those tags. Sorry, I have a migraine and just wanted to post to not hold the game up. I'll go with grazed shoulder, it seems fitting. Thanks
  4. Is there a list of statues somewhere that I should be looking for? Face Danger tags Subconscious reaction speed Oops! I forgot to subtract 3 from the roll.
  5. Declan L'estrange Declan can feel the adrenaline pumping through his veins, that shot had come far too close. And that splash... No, no thinking about that now. In the daze of rain, shouts and violence, Declan reaches out to the dream, an old friend that he never quite trusted, but a friend all the same. The world looked different to him now. He refocuses his attention on the gunslinger. The one who had to pay. Tags Show this A Good Shot Premonitions Subconscious Reaction Speed +3 for tags -2 for status -1 for armor
  6. Oh, neat! Thanks. Yeah, Declan will be targeting the gunman who was firing at him. I'll make a post and roll now.
  7. "Each weakness tag that directly impedes your action decreases your Power by 1, but you get to mark Attention on the theme of that weakness tag. The MC can also choose to activate one or more of your weakness tags this way" I guess you only mark attention if you've added a weakness tab. Looks like the Attention thing is something you build up and get to spend later? Under this assumption, I've made a table to track Declan's Attention / Crack in the Characters page. I think I will do Go Toe to Toe with a combo: Tags: A Good Shot Premonitions Subconscious Reaction Speed (unless that doesn't work together?)
  8. Hrm, looks like Declan can do one of two things: 1. Recover from the penalty with the Rugged power tag, taking up a turn, or 2. Continue to fight with that penalty. He also has some rift powers, I think? Subconscious Reaction Speed might be helpful here, but I don't know what the mechanics are, exactly.
  9. I think we're waiting for Samanos. I would just assume they've been very busy this week. (Not really sure how Declan is doing in the fight with the one dude yet.)
  10. Uhh, I think Declan is still gunfighting with that one bloke. Looks like your hallucinations might be helpful for Brianna, who has two on her, though?
  11. Does this mean that I use 2d6 and then subtract 3 from the roll?
  12. Okay, we'll do: Go Toe to Toe Tags: A Good Shot +1 Status: Dark and Stormy Night -1 He will focus on a combatant that Brianna or Allan are not actively engaging with. I'll choose one of them for now.
  13. I don't know what the situation will look like when Declan gets out there, but the overall objective would be to provide covering fire for the two close quarters combatants to either get close or withdraw, as the situation demands. Heading out, the immediate concern would be to drive back attackers from Theo or Brianna if the situation is looking grim for them.
  14. Declan L'estrange Declan watches Allan and Theo head outside then claps the balding man on the shoulder. "Alright, my man. Keep it up in here and I'll see what I can do about what's going on outside." Declan readies his pistols and heads outside.
  15. Okay, here's what I've got: 1. What can you tell me about what's happening here tonight? 2. What do you know about Darnell Fox? Sounds like he had an angry confrontation and just dropped dead. 3. Have you heard of any other deaths or odd events happening?
  16. Action: Investigate Request information about the murders from the bald man while helping direct people out of the bar Choose Tags: Power: Good judge of character
  17. Hrmm... I guess Declan can go over under the pretense of helping the bald man guide people out, keep an eye out and try to get some information from the man. He still seems to have known what was going on before anyone else (besides Theo). Do I have to run an investigation roll for it?
  18. I have a question about Theo's power - in particular, prophecy. I assume that the prophecies are things that will happen without intervention from the playable characters? Not that they will happen no matter what the PCs do or that there's a chance that they might not happen even if the PCs don't do anything about it? So, they can stop prophecies from coming true? Are they maybe required to make prophecies come true as well?
  19. Declan was worried about Brianna returning while a gun fight took place and wanted her to have a place to go and help. He figured Theo could do that well. He assumed Alan might be good to grab the singer, maybe evacuate people via microphone. But, Theo's ability might be better for it! Have Theo act as he sees best.
  20. At the moment, he intends to engage the man to see what he's nervous about, or, if the man moves, to tail him if he can. They don't know who he is yet, but he's clearly in the know of some things going on here. I should say, though, that while Declan is attempting to manage the situation, if Allan or Theo believe they are better to go after the man or do something different, Declan would go along with it.
  21. Declan L'estrange Declan curses, "Alright, I'm gonna go for the bald man. Allan, do you think you can do anything about the singer? Theo, get eyes on the doors! If Brianna enters, get her attention."
  22. Well maybe they headed out as she took off and someone who is fast can go after her? They are faced with a decision tho: do they try to save the people at the bar from the shooting, do they go after Brianna or do they split and try to do both? If the last one, Declan seems best fit for a gunfight as he has guns (not sure if Theo or Allan do) but Brianna may be a higher priority. Maybe they can call the police and report suspicious activity at the bar?
  23. Seems like they should be on their way out but I'm not sure if they can do anything if the killing process has already started even if they get there in time...
