  1. Sure you would fly better than with wings. In this scenario wings are not necessary, unless you want it because of the visuals.
  2. I mean there is some lore but it's not overwhelming. The short version of things, the world was pretty much like our world until 2018 when N-Day happened and Novas started appearing. Novas have been part of the world for 10 years (current year is 2028 in game) and unlike many other superhero settings where super inventor didn't use their powers to change the world...the world has been changed, clean energy, Opnet (basically replacement to the internet is basically free and make the internet looks like a snail, available everywhere) and various other improvements. Novas are pretty much superstars and there are a few of them only 2000 of them worldwide. Project Utopia and the Aeon Society helped the world during the chaotic period of the Novas eruptions in 2018 to now. The UN holds a great amount of influence in the world. Team Tomorrow is part of Project Utopia and do things that you would expect from Superheroes teams. There are multiple T2M based in different places around the world, still the presence of a teleporter makes it possible for members to show up anywhere for assistance. Beyond that, you can just make a character that erupted with powers and took the offer for Team Tomorrow Canada.
  3. Alright that's fair, well think of a concept first and can help with the mechanics later.
  4. Gave it look, you get 1 skill trick for free so decide which one. For the stamina question, it doesn't increase your rating but does give you durability scale specifically for resisting pain and conditions relating to Stamina, such as fatigue, hunger, or thirst. If you want to get some extra benefits, you should consider the Dense Flesh mega-edge, it just requires mega-stamina but gives you additional health, so with 1 dot (limited by your dots in Mega-Stamina), you would get one bruised injury condition. Hardy and Mega-Stamina have different stuff, while Mega-Stamina will give enhancement to resist indirect damage, Hardy will make you tougher against environmental conditions and of course you end up healing twice as fast. While Mega-Stamina will help you resolve the Injury condition faster.
  5. Its literally the beginning of Team Canada as in opening day, pretty much Project Utopia has been lobbying to form a Team Tomorrow in Canada and essentially your group comes in where there is tension in the country. There are many factions anti-Utopia and novas, many believing Project Utopia has too much influence. So in a place with anti-novas sentiment growing, you can also imagine Teragen and Aberrants are coming. There is no hurry, got time until next week.
  6. It should be fine to smite multiple different weapons that way. Officially you have to terminate for everyone. From PEGmike: "Sorry for the late update, I was correct, you still have to terminate it for everyone. Its possible we were going to change it and decided not to, then missed the edit we had already done. " This wasn't updated for SW PF, so the description is still the same.
  7. I'm okay with the Patron Edge and I mean anybody on Team Tomorrow is fine to use as a patron including Cestus. Just as mentioned in the patron entry, it goes both ways for favors etc... Now for other people as patrons, it really depends. In general would rather avoid some of the other stuff like, I don't plan to focus on Aliens so wouldn't really want someone doing a backdoor insert of Aliens with the patron edge or using a patron for some characters who are MIA or presumed to be dead for now.
  8. I went to investigate since it seems, like to be written weirdly, but according to the author: "It was only ever supposed to be one free Skill Trick, but then I was told that wasn't clear... I tried to fix it, but apparently it still isn't clear. Alas. Add that to my running list of "If I had it to do all over again" From Danielle Lauzon, Trinity Mechanic leads. I also thought it was a skill trick for every dots above 3, but it is supposed to be only one. In short the rule is: for every skills with 3 or more dots, you get a specialty. You start with one skill trick for free.
  9. -The limitation is simply to say that it doesn't work if you want to hand it out to an ally. It only works for you. -Notice, Shooting and Survival when you get Mystic Powers at veteran rank. I don't see the mending cantrip but all powers can be used as "cantrips" version/lower versions.
  10. Let see math wise, it is fine. Quantum Attack you have to define it, basically picking the tags with 3 dots, you can pick 3 tags. Nova bloodsports run by the MegaSyndicate, a possibility maybe but that's still very hard to do, even for the Syndicate. Also a reason why they try to avoid Nova stuff, they have a few Elites nova working for them tho. As for Teen Tomorrow and the Tomorrow Academy pretty much the first team just got made, so it is all very new to say the least but could the potential of going directly to Team Tomorrow.
  11. Yeah sometime worth double checking and for Scale no worries will help you with it later when the sheet is done. Other notes: If you are planning to be a gadgeteer type, you should really consider the attunement edge and the Q-Tech mega-edge, due to how nova tech and quantum tech works in the game. Without those, it could prove difficult to do what you want to do.
  12. Hey there, sure let me do some first impression critique: -Quantum 1 to 3, is 32 experience (+2 quantum trait, at 16 experience each) -6 Mega-attributes = 72 experience -4 Mega-Edges = 48 experience (look like its an error on the quick pick option in the genius archetype, as even in the paragraph before, they mention choosing 3 dots worth of Mega-edges. Inventor is 2, Prolific is 1, Resourceful is 1) Seems to be a little over the 150 experience, 152 experience total. If you added +1 attribute like the Genius template suggest, would be 162 experience total.
  13. in M&M 3e, it would just be a complication.
  14. The plan right now, you are a new branch for Team Tomorrow, novas from across the world are invited and will start in Toronto, Canada (they will give enough money for transportation).
  15. Not going to claim that I know Strikeforce Morituri but what powers do they have? (I only do M&M 3e)

  17. The Men and Women of Project Utopia work hard to make our world a better place. But to whom they turn for support? They call Team Tomorrow! True guardians of justice, these real-life superheroes put their lives on the line for all of us! They are led by Cestus Pax, the living embodiment of the ideals of Project Utopia! But Thwarting Nova Terrorists is only part of their mission. Team Tomorrow is also responsible for: Responding to disasters Decreasing local crime Improving Urban Infrastructure and Helping people like you and me! Team Tomorrow needs you, young nova! Bring your Mazarin-Rashoud Test results to your Local project Utopia branch and join up today! The year is 2028, it's been 10 years since Novas have come to our world because of the incident and changed our world! This chronicle uses the Trinity Continuum Aberrant rules by Onyx Path and as part of Team Tomorrow, it is a more traditional superheroes story about saving the world. Technology: Novas have used their abilities to help improve technology here's the main 3 types of Technology, even if most baseline (normal people) call them Nova Tech: -Core-tech: Nova-designed technology that can be replicated, mass-produced, and mostly understood by baseline designers. -Nova tech: Technology created from the study of novas or their abilities, or created by novas, but understandable and usable by baselines. -Quantum Tech: Technology created by and for novas and only usable by them due to their quantum-manipulating abilities. Lexicon Aberrant: 1) A common slur term for a nova, particularly one with various transformations. 2) A member of the violent Aberrants faction of the Teragen. Nova: From Homo sapiens novus, a theoretical subspecies of humanity with the mental ability to manipulate fundamental quantum forces to perform amazing feats. Eruption: The first manifestation of a potential nova’s abilities, often accompanied by a violent release of force or energy, which led to its name.
  18. You need the Trinity Continuum Corebook and the Trinity Continuum Aberrant book to create your Nova character. Make a new Thread and tell me about your character. If you have never played the system or don't own any of the books, we can do the quick character creation version where you pick an archetype, its easier and will help you get started. Your character can be from anywhere in the world and you got invited to a new branch of Team Tomorrow in Toronto, Canada aka the new Hollywood. STEP ONE: CONCEPT Pick your character’s name, background, and Aspirations. STEP TWO: PATHS Pick your character’s Origin, Role, and Society Paths. New Role and Society Paths specific to Aberrant are provided on p. 99 and pp. 104–157. Your society Path is restricted to Project Utopia, as part of Project Tomorrow. STEP THREE:SKILLS, SKILL TRICKS, AND SPECIALTIES Assign your skill dots, and pick skill tricks and specialties for any skills with a high enough rating. STEP FOUR: ATTRIBUTES Assign your attribute dots and choose your character’s favored approach. STEP FIVE: APPLY NOVA TEMPLATE Up until this step, your choices have largely focused on your character’s baseline existence. Now apply the nova template and spend Experience to choose your character’s Mega-Attributes, Mega-Edges, Quantum Powers, and Quantum Trait rating. STEP SIX: FINISHING TOUCHES Spend any remaining Experience on rounding your character out, and calculate Defense, Speed, and Injuries. Do not take bonus traits as per Trinity Continuum Core Rulebook, p. 38 (those are rolled into the starting experience points that novas get).
  19. If the smite trapping that you pick is suitable to your Draconic Bloodline, yes it should stack. Like if your Smite is fire and your draconic bloodline is a Red Dragon, it will stack. If you pick smite and a trapping that doesn't match the Draconic bloodline, then no.
  20. It depends on your focus: Agility has more uses for physical combat (Fighting and Shooting skills) Spirit helps you resist supernatural abilities and also works with social skills like intimidation, and if you are a divine caster like a Cleric, its important for the Faith skill.
  21. Pathfinder is basically self contained and modifies some stuff from SWADE. Like Savage Pathfinder is basically its own corebook before any confusion. SWADE is basically great if you plan to play many different genres/settings + appropriate companion. Savage Pathfinder is rooted in Fantasy setting and of course use Golarion as the base setting but it is easy enough to use any other fantasy setting (Forgotten Realms, Nentir Vale, Greyhawk etc...)
