  1. What? In the latest Adventure Path? Who killed him? Also, is there anything to attack at the moment in the room? The bones?

  4. I use Discord only on Chrome. Works like a charm and don't need to install any apps to (work) computer :)
  5. Discord is getting Roll20 integration. Especially for D&D games it's getting harder and harder to justify using Myth-Weavers for running the games.
  6. Hope for nothing major. Being almost 50 I can say hurting your back happens a lot if you're not careful at this age. Possible causes for hurting your back is anything sports related, but also lifting anything remotely heavy in a "funny" position (not funny when it happens), jumping down from a height of two stairs or more, slipping and falling on a surface, slipping and almost falling on a surface, and getting out of bed.

He moves after them, raising his shield once again since it's all he can do. Show ooc Stride, Stride, Raise Shield.
  9. As a sidenote anyone else note that every monster we fight seems to have higher modifiers than our party? +10 or higher seems to be the norm even for the "line troops". No wonder we get hit all the time and can't seem to get past their saves. This adventure module is brutal.

Their party just can't catch a break can they? The burly dwarf keeps pushing, moving up to the crossbow-armed Morlock and swinging his hammer at it, after which he again raises his shield against an incoming threat. Show ooc Attack Damage
  11. I hear ya about the tanking part. Let's give it a few more chances. Should also get better when I get myself a better shield that can take more punishment before crumbling. I think in order to maximize the effectiveness of Rok's actions, I'd say he will only use Retributive Strike as a reaction if one of the conditions below are true. Otherwise he will just Shield Block. 1. He has not Raised his Shield (obviously) 2. There is no enemy in range to Strike with the retributive strike. 3. There is no chance he will get hit himself (i.e. last attacking enemy for the round or no one who can reach him) Last part of course might be a bit tricky since it's not obvious sometimes who can reach Rok or not. Here the reactive gameplay vs. PbP becomes problematic since this would in tabletop gameplay be a player decision time, but in order to keep things flowing you cannot obviously stop the game everytime to ask me if I want to take the reaction.

As much as he would like to pound on the leader with his hammer, he restrains his fury and raises his shield instead, ready to deflect an incoming blow. Show ooc Stride, Stride, Raise Shield. Note that Rok's location on the map is assuming the morlock north of him cannot slip past him into the hallway around the corner (and through Rok's space). Don't know if you can cut solid corners in PF2 or not, but I assume you can't.

  14. I'm all up for it. Not really happy about how Rok works as he's very reliant on reactions and reaction gameplay in PbP is not very intuitive. Also it looks like "tanking" isn't really working so well because AoOs are not really a thing anymore. Personally would love to bring Alva back, but we got a barbarian in the team already...
