While most people focused on the troubles below world, this group was composed of mercenaries who were from various space forces around the world. When the war was over, mega-corporations continued to compete in orbit for supplies resources and power. Most of the black rose was eventually caught or killed. Nixon was lucky (or unlucky) enough to be caught by NSPD's coast guard division. Before he was imprisoned to be sentenced for international crimes against mega-corporations and Nations. Trouble  I'm a NPSD Penal Conscript with no other choice, and I resent it.]  Ghost-face was recruited by the NPSD while serving out a portion of his sentence in Japan before he would be extradited to America. However, his skills would be move than useful as he had valuable intel he uncovered while committing crimes against nations and mega-corporations above the world. He negotiated out of his extradition. Oddly, because of the desperate times the NPSD took Ghost-Face as a Penal Conscript. This gave them access to someone who had combat skills and abilities they didn't have to invest in, all the while held powerful hold over him. Yet as he works with them, he's under appreciated and disrespected. He seems to have to work harder than others to even gain respect. He's still not come to terms with his assets being seized and how he's been robbed.... by the 'good guys'.    Aspects  "I always know my team" Due to first bonding with Cho Hong in section 2, he took good time to know the strengths and weaknesses of his unit. Hong was crucial to Ghost-Face opening up to the others. Now, Ghost-Face Instinctively knows what most of the others are going to do by just about a nod or a few hand signals. Giving him uncanny insight to the moves of his unit. He knows their weaknesses and uses his own skills to fill in the gaps. He watches what they are doing and can figure out what they mean or want without words. He know the twinkle in Hong's eye when he's analyzing a suspect. He doesn't always do things the way they want- but he's an explosives expert after all! Besides that, he distrust people who aren't vetted and is always weary of people he has to work with who he's not personally vetted or trained with. [/ooc] [ooc= LET JUST BLOW IT UP!] Ghost-Face always like to blow things up and is more like a jack-hammer than a precision scalpel. Sure, he understands how to be discreet, careful, and follow orders. But he's got to leave his mark. His first option is always to use explosives. They are loud, destructive, and are a lot like him. When planning, he often complains if he's told not to blow something up.... but he'll almost always find something he can blow up. It's what he does.  I'm a Ghost under the Rose " Nixons short time behind bars wasn't easy, it was a few months time frame with many attempts on his life. Besides, he had few friends and made enemies. However, he was tough and hard to kill. He was in the infirmary, or other people were every time he was put briefly into general population. The Yakuza tried to shake him for information, so did interrogators. He didn't crack, even the threat of extradition didn't bother him anymore. He seemed like he was just set in accepting death on his own terms.   It wasn't until section 2 reached out to him, and started to make him honest offers that he started to even make a deal. They needed him to get Akuma, and he realized the threat of terrorism. He even was trained in counter-terrorism, and part of United States Space Force. However, since he left the military his mercenary records were more based upon his association with Black Rose. When he became an orbital pirate, he became a ghost. He still has many secrets, section 2 isn't even close uncovering them all. With them seizing all his assets, he's not likely to share much more than he has to. Besides, in all honesty, he's also the very last Black Rose Pirate. Others left even years ago, before the rest were killed. They are just associated- only Ghost Face survived and never ever said he wasn't a black rose. He still knows how to operate in descrete secrecy. He is very careful in using his contacts and favors under the guise of what little he's still got access too.... under the rose.    Stunts Zero-G Advanced training (Athletics) Zero-G training is key for all orbital troopers. Your Athletics skill works unimpeded by conditions like storms, water, pressurized conditions or with low to zero gravity. Big & Dangerous (Physique) Due to a large and intimidating build, people tent to naturally avoid conflict with you. (Besides having a fearsome reputation) You may use Physique in place of provoke when attempting to intimidate others. Demolitions(Craft) You are an expert with explosives. +2 to attack rolls made with Crafts against a target structure whenever you have time to prepare and place charges at its exact weak points. (adapted from Spirit of the Century SRD) "Attention! (Notice) You have been trained to follow orders instantly in combat. When determining turn order for a physical conflict, you may use an ally's Notice skill instead of your own.   "Black Rose Orbital Power Armor (Physique) Ghost Face's unique power armor is modified beyond what is usual for Orbital power armor. He also wears his like a second skin. When wearing his Power armor, Ghost Face gains +1 Scale with Physique and damage absorption from Physical attacks. SCALE: When two entities enter into a conflict with one another, the differences in their scale come into play. For every step that separates them, apply one or both of the following effects to the larger of the two: +1 to the attack roll or +1 to the defense roll Deal +2 shifts of harm on a successful attack or reduce incoming harm by 2   Skills One Great (+4) Physical, Athletics Two Good (+3) Fight, Crafts Three Fair (+2) Shoot, Computers, Notice *Five Average (+1) Will, Burglary, Drive All the rest at (+0) skills Stress Physical Stress: OOO OO Mental Stress: OOO O   Personality Nixon "Ghost-Face" Moore was an mercenary during the last world war. In those times he was very disciplined as one would expect of a soldier turned mercenary. His sense of humor is dry, sarcastic, dark, and sometimes just too dark for any person who's not seen people die.  Abusive language doesn't bother him- in fact it's part or the course when working with him. It's often meant to be endearing over actually insulting. He's far more like a loud american that struggles to fit into the traditional Japanese culture. He tries not to clash with it, but it seems to happen when people have etiquette expectations. He's  ano-nonsense tough guy. When he's not, he's quiet trying to not pour gas on tense situations. He's got no fear of fighting, but most often prefers 'explosive' solutions. He'd spend time training in Okinawa when he was early in his service. As the war dragged on he'd spent a lot of time in space. Mega-corporations started to do major moves in orbital travel and control. However, unlike earth- it was much easier to to move and evade in the space above the skies. It carried it's own risks as well. Nixon was recruited to the Black Rose mercenary group, a PMC who would hire themselves out to governments or corps. Few PMCs specialized in orbital actions as well as them. The war put them in conflict with nations and mega-corps regularly. The Black Rose soon turned to piracy and made huge profits stealing and selling cargo, data or trade secrets to corporations or on the black market.   Nixon's unit however had a bad op and almost met a horrible fate. The ship they were raiding had a reactor breach which lead to it's demise. Nixon and two other men in his unit escaped and crashed to earth in their damaged ship. He was the only one to recover. One didn't survive his injuries, while the other ended up becoming a paraplegic. However, they were picked up by the NPSD and imprisoned. Being international pirates, Nixon was pretty sure it was over for him. He'd spend the rest of his life in prisons serving time until he died. He handled himself well in prison too. However, he'd get in more trouble for how he'd take down fellow criminals. Establishing a reputation as being hard man to kill.  The NPSD didn't have the resources it needed to handle what faced them in Tokyo, a very influential NPSD representative, decided to attempt to recruit Nixon to help the NPSD handle it's current issues with Akuma. He knew he'd face extradition to America once his time was served here in Japan. It didn't take much convincing to turn this skilled soldier into a NPSD conscript to avoid Extradition. He wasn't really left with a good choice, but even this was better than the alternative. With his assets frozen by the international bank. He was pretty much starting over fresh.  **More to come based on development** Death Defiance" (Physique) If you are taken out in a physical conflict, you may spend a fate point to concede instead. After you have collected fate points for conceding, you must spend a further amount of half of your fate points, rounded down. Coincidence conspires to keep you alive, and you pass from the view of the other combatants (such as by dropping off a cliff, apparently failing to escape from an exploding building, or the like). You may re-enter play in any subsequent scene in as dramatic a fashion as you see fit, explaining to everyone how you survived. You return with all of your physical stress cleared and a single additional consequence incurred to reflect the dangers you defied.
