Following the others' ideas, Vadania is also wont to heal a bit before attempting to press on. Though she realized sitting out in the open was not the best option as more orcs could attack, and digging back into the tunnel could mean any sort of creature, like the oozes from before.

"Perhaps we should return to the safety of your camp?" she asks of Dazlyn and Norbus. "A bit of rest by the fire would likely do us all some good."

OOC

If all agree to return to camp, she will meditate near the fire as a form of rest.

While parts of the party return to the dwarven camp to deal with their injuries. Makaria and Gilavar begin with the gruesome but necessary task of searching the slain orcs for useful gear and information, before piling them up and setting fire to the corpses.

they find some coins on the bodies, not a fortune but at least something, 2 of the javelins are still unused and unbroken, but in a general poor state as is most of the orcs weaponry or equipment. Clan Naggelug certainly had fallen on hard times. Ultimately it is Makaria finding a scrap of parchment with some lines in orcish script.

Handing it to Gilavar who can read.

Brothers,

We can't stand against the white Lord and shall find new homes north of our mountains. Yet we will gather for the raid when the crescent moon rises.

Makaria looks back towards Gilavar with a little concern etched on her face; after he interpreted the message. "Yes you are right we must immediately inform the others about this planned Orcish raid; on the next crescent moon. Someone hopefully should be able to determine the next crescent moon will occur,"? she answered, then accompanied him to tell the others.

Vala laid on the ground allowing Katya use her healing powers on her. As she recovered her health, she talked to the Druid. I also wanted to talk with the Orcs, it’s was unwise for them to forfeit their chance of survival; however, I’m glad they had the death of a warrior. Most honorable, if you ask me. Perhaps my reasoning will sound odd to you, because you are a druid, but some creatures can but coexist as links of a food chain. For example, I dream of bargaining with the dragon, but I’m sure we’ll be treated as ants trying to pick their food. I think that’s what both the manticore and the orcs thought of us when we met them. Anyway, I really want to thank you for your help, it was awesome…

After listening to Katya, Vala rambled and fell asleep for a moment. She woke up by the time her comrades had looted the fallen enemies, when the parchment was being read. ...Sounds like a big deal! said Vala when she heard about the raid, What else did you find? The paladin approached Makaria after standing up, and suggested asking the dwarves for the current moon.

FeatsObservantQuick to notice details of your environment, you gain the following benefits:

Increase your Intelligence or Wisdom score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
If you can see a creature's mouth while it is speaking a language you understand, you can interpret what it's saying by reading its lips.
You have a +5 bonus to your passive Wisdom (Perception) and passive Intelligence (Investigation) scores.

 | FeaturesRitual CastingYou can cast a Druid spell as a ritual if that spell has the ritual tag and you have the spell prepared
Wild ShapeStarting at 2nd level, you can use your action to magically assume the shape of a beast that you have seen before. You can use this feature twice. You regain expended uses when you finish a short or long rest.

Your druid level determines the beasts you can transform into, as shown in the Beast Shapes table. At 2nd level, for example, you can transform into any beast that has a challenge rating of 1/4 or lower that doesn't have a flying or swimming speed.
You can stay in a beast shape for a number of hours equal to half your druid level (rounded down). You then revert to your normal form unless you expend another use of this feature. You can revert to your normal form earlier by using a bonus action on your turn. You automatically revert if you fall unconscious, drop to 0 hit points, or die.

While you are transformed, the following rules apply:

Your game statistics are replaced by the statistics of the beast, but you retain your alignment, personality, and Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores. You also retain all of your skill and saving throw proficiencies, in addition to gaining those of the creature. If the creature has the same proficiency as you and the bonus in its stat block is higher than yours, use the creature's bonus instead of yours. If the creature has any legendary or lair actions, you can't use them.
When you transform, you assume the beast's hit points and Hit Dice. When you revert to your normal form, you return to the number of hit points you had before you transformed. However, if you revert as a result of dropping to 0 hit points, any excess damage carries over to your normal form, For example, if you take 10 damage in animal form and have only 1 hit point left, you revert and take 9 damage. As long as the excess damage doesn't reduce your normal form to 0 hit points, you aren't knocked unconscious.
You can't cast spells, and your ability to speak or take any action that requires hands is limited to the capabilities of your beast form. Transforming doesn't break your concentration on a spell you've already cast, however, or prevent you from taking actions that are part of a spell, such as Call Lightning, that you've already cast.
You retain the benefit of any features from your class, race, or other source and can use them if the new form is physically capable of doing so. However, you can't use any of your special senses, such as darkvision, unless your new form also has that sense.
You choose whether your equipment falls to the ground in your space, merges into your new form, or is worn by it. Worn equipment functions as normal, but the DM decides whether it is practical for the new form to wear a piece of equipment, based on the creature's shape and size. Your equipment doesn't change size or shape to match the new form, and any equipment that the new form can't wear must either fall to the ground or merge with it. Equipment that merges with the form has no effect until you leave the form.

Circle Form: MoonThe rites of your circle grant you the ability to transform into more dangerous animal forms. Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Wild Shape to transform into a beast with a challenge rating as high as 1. You ignore the Max. CR column of the Beast Shapes table, but must abide by the other limitations there.

Starting at 6th level, you can transform into a beast with a challenge rating as high as your druid level divided by 3, rounded down.

Combat Wild ShapeWhen you choose this circle at 2nd level, you gain the ability to use Wild Shape on your turn as a bonus action, rather than as an action.

Additionally, while you are transformed by Wild Shape, you can use a bonus action to expend one spell slot to regain 1d8 hit points per level of the spell slot expended.
<1/2>
Wild CompanionAt 2nd level, you gain the ability to summon a spirit that assumes an animal form: as an action, you can expend a use of your Wild Shape feature to cast the Find Familiar spell, without material components.

When you cast the spell in this way, the familiar is a fey instead of a beast, and the familiar disappears after a number of hours equal to half your druid level.

As she slowly uses her magic to heal the warriors injuries, Katya listens to Vala, who she was happy to find sympathized with the Druids wish for non-violence against the Orcs, though she just cannot agree with the comment of the food chain.

"I... I don't believe that is true, if that Manticore was simply hungry, I don't think we could be seen as an easy meal, and the Orcs? They were blinded by greed and anger... The Druids understand nature and the need to hunt and eat, that much is true, but creatures like the Manticore, and those Orcs... It was hubris more than anything that felled them moreso than our blades and spells... But it hurts to know I could not save even one of them. Though I could not convince them to join our cause, at least I was able to help, but I let you and Vadania get hurt, I should not have jumped in like I did, next time I might not be able to heal you in time"

By the time Gilavar and Makaria have returned, Katya has exhausted her magic, and is unable to heal the others any further, but is glad to know the removal of their discomfort will help them recover through the night. When the speculation of the moon is mentioned, the young Princess perks up a little, feeling useful again.

The young druid takes a deep breath feeling nature conversing with her. The moon phases being like song to her, a melody she could sing and dance to. There is a long time till the next crescent moon will show on the night sky (25 days).

Are you spending another night at the Dwarves or are you moving on now that you are healed? Dazlyn clearly hopes to be able to include you in the excavation work of the tunnel, but Gilavar seems anxious to move on.

The feeling of the phases of the moon are like a heartbeat to her, it does not take long for the Princess to feel the magical connection between the earth, the moon, and herself. The Waxing Crescent had just passed, and they were almost a month out of the next phase. With a deep exhale, she opens her eyes and looks to her companions.

"We are twenty five days away, a Crescent moon has just passed, the next will be near a month, there is time before the raid, the Gnomes and the people of Phandalin are easy enough for us to tell, perhaps we should see if anyone in Gnomegarde is a trader willing to spread the message... Maybe we even seek out the Orcs and try and convince them to join our cause, they seem to fear Cryovain just as much as the rest of us"

She ponders while preparing for a rest, knowing that no matter what they decide to do, there is many tasks ahead.

"Once we're rested, I think we should make haste to inform the Gnomes, and perhaps make a trip to Phandalin before we return here to investigate the tunnels, we don't know what sort of danger we will find in there, and if we were to be unable to warn others, then we risk putting people in danger"

Makaria, hears what Katya had to say about the next crescent moon; "Yes, indeed as the next crescent moon is near a month away; I agree we can inform the Gnomes in Gnomgarde; and those in Phandalin about the planned Orcish raid. But how Cryovain our new resident dragon fits into the scheme of things around here remains to be seen. Then investigating the tunnels thoroughly; with the Dwarves help may reveal more about what we are all up against" ? she replied.

"Sounds good to me to the Gnomes then,"? Makaria replies; then proceeds to enter the cart with Vala; "Looks like we have almost a month to also discern exactly where this Orc raid is to occur and the expected outcome from it,"? She added. "As for the Gnomes we will soon discover who's side they are really on? and how they fit into the scheme of things here,"? she said.
