FeatsObservantQuick to notice details of your environment, you gain the following benefits:

Increase your Intelligence or Wisdom score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
If you can see a creature's mouth while it is speaking a language you understand, you can interpret what it's saying by reading its lips.
You have a +5 bonus to your passive Wisdom (Perception) and passive Intelligence (Investigation) scores.

 | FeaturesRitual CastingYou can cast a Druid spell as a ritual if that spell has the ritual tag and you have the spell prepared
Wild ShapeStarting at 2nd level, you can use your action to magically assume the shape of a beast that you have seen before. You can use this feature twice. You regain expended uses when you finish a short or long rest.

Your druid level determines the beasts you can transform into, as shown in the Beast Shapes table. At 2nd level, for example, you can transform into any beast that has a challenge rating of 1/4 or lower that doesn't have a flying or swimming speed.
You can stay in a beast shape for a number of hours equal to half your druid level (rounded down). You then revert to your normal form unless you expend another use of this feature. You can revert to your normal form earlier by using a bonus action on your turn. You automatically revert if you fall unconscious, drop to 0 hit points, or die.

While you are transformed, the following rules apply:

Your game statistics are replaced by the statistics of the beast, but you retain your alignment, personality, and Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores. You also retain all of your skill and saving throw proficiencies, in addition to gaining those of the creature. If the creature has the same proficiency as you and the bonus in its stat block is higher than yours, use the creature's bonus instead of yours. If the creature has any legendary or lair actions, you can't use them.
When you transform, you assume the beast's hit points and Hit Dice. When you revert to your normal form, you return to the number of hit points you had before you transformed. However, if you revert as a result of dropping to 0 hit points, any excess damage carries over to your normal form, For example, if you take 10 damage in animal form and have only 1 hit point left, you revert and take 9 damage. As long as the excess damage doesn't reduce your normal form to 0 hit points, you aren't knocked unconscious.
You can't cast spells, and your ability to speak or take any action that requires hands is limited to the capabilities of your beast form. Transforming doesn't break your concentration on a spell you've already cast, however, or prevent you from taking actions that are part of a spell, such as Call Lightning, that you've already cast.
You retain the benefit of any features from your class, race, or other source and can use them if the new form is physically capable of doing so. However, you can't use any of your special senses, such as darkvision, unless your new form also has that sense.
You choose whether your equipment falls to the ground in your space, merges into your new form, or is worn by it. Worn equipment functions as normal, but the DM decides whether it is practical for the new form to wear a piece of equipment, based on the creature's shape and size. Your equipment doesn't change size or shape to match the new form, and any equipment that the new form can't wear must either fall to the ground or merge with it. Equipment that merges with the form has no effect until you leave the form.

Circle Form: MoonThe rites of your circle grant you the ability to transform into more dangerous animal forms. Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Wild Shape to transform into a beast with a challenge rating as high as 1. You ignore the Max. CR column of the Beast Shapes table, but must abide by the other limitations there.

Starting at 6th level, you can transform into a beast with a challenge rating as high as your druid level divided by 3, rounded down.

Combat Wild ShapeWhen you choose this circle at 2nd level, you gain the ability to use Wild Shape on your turn as a bonus action, rather than as an action.

Additionally, while you are transformed by Wild Shape, you can use a bonus action to expend one spell slot to regain 1d8 hit points per level of the spell slot expended.
<1/2>
Wild CompanionAt 2nd level, you gain the ability to summon a spirit that assumes an animal form: as an action, you can expend a use of your Wild Shape feature to cast the Find Familiar spell, without material components.

When you cast the spell in this way, the familiar is a fey instead of a beast, and the familiar disappears after a number of hours equal to half your druid level.

A few days was no bother for her, but it was possible that during that time, they could continue their tasks and return in two days time to see what sort of trouble the Dwarves would have uncovered for them by then. Smiling gently at Valas enthusiasm, she looks to the white haired warrior.

"Two days is an awful long time for us to be waiting, we could return after speaking with the Gnomes, I have no doubt we will be expedient. Perhaps, ser Dwarves, the final stones could be safely removed once we have returned? It would be unfortunate for there to be great evil trapped behind there and there to be no one to protect you"

Gilavar frowns at Vala’s comment and nods with Katya’s words. “We took jobs to warn these dwarves here and the gnomes. We killed those oozes for the dwarves and explored that temple, because we would only leave for the gnomes tomorrow morning anyway.”

”I would keep my implied word and leave tomorrow morning to deliver the warning to the gnomes. I hope we can all go together.”

The elf pauses before continuing, “After the gnomes or a return trip to town to collect our reward, we can return to assist the dwarves. Or at the very least, that’s when I can return to help you, Norbus.”

Reitan audibly sighed.

Two days is an awful long time while a dragon prowls about. The gnomes might not need the warning by then.

He turned toward Gilavar.

A man is only as good as his word. I'm not sure if that means anything to the women here, but if we must split I'm going with you.

Truthfully, he wanted to get as far as he could away from here and the mysterious Talos symbols. He did not want to believe that any Talos worshippers would desecrate anothers temple. He was genuinely confused.

Then she nodded, you do have an important point, guys, the dragon matter is quite pressing in regards of delivering the best of results. And whilst stroking her chin, added. Say no more! Are we moving right away or taking a rest? This place seems safe so far. Vala was full of energy, but perhaps the party wanted to rest.

Hearing the group wanted to continue their missions, and that most agreed that they would return to discover what else the temple had to offer, Katya was quite satisfied with the circumstances. Though she is eager to continue onward, at the suggestion of taking a rest, the red haired Princess pitches in her thoughts.

"Staying the night would be a welcome blessing, the nights are cold and the dangers are plentiful, some warmth and a good nights rest will do wonders for our travels in the morning"

She clasps her hands in front of her, looking to her companions.

Makaria, looked towards both Vala and Katya before replying there were some things out here that looked like they needed further investigation.

"I for one wouldn't mind staying out here for the night; sharing the fire and hearing some more stories from the Dwarves. We can report back to town tomorrow considering it may take a week to clear the tunnels," she answered the others.

You spend the evening in the company of the dwarves swapping stories, while eating on of your rations each. An orderly watch schedule ensures everybody is safe and as the sunlight is kissing the walls of the canyon, you are ready for a new day.
So where are you heading?

which caused Dazlyn to interject “And here I thought, they were exactly your kind of folks, they don’t want to see or meet anybody either. Every time I have passed their place the doors remained firmly shut. It’s a bit less than a day’s worth of walking along to side of the mountains towards the east. Makaria, after bidding farewell to the Dwarves gets her gear ready to leave on the mule drawn cart (after all its a quicker ride than purely walking); then feeds the beast of burden some hay; plus leading it to some water to drink as an encouragement.

She turns towards Gilavar an arcs an eyebrow; "Looks like we are heading along the side of the mountains towards the east in search of Gnomes; whether they are hospitable or not. They may have some means with their gadgets to aid us all in ridding the land of a supposedly benevolent dragon so it seems," she said.

The Dwarven mystery will have to wait until the rubble is cleared for a proper inspection so it seems; she pondered.

"It makes one wonder if the Dwarven miners already know what lies in the bowels of their excavations; or what it is that they are hiding from us if anything,"? she added waiting for any of the others to accompany her with the mule as they journey onwards towards the Gnomes this time.

The Dwarves do not give her much hope that their meeting with the Gnomes will be overly beneficial, but she does not let that bother her. After a rather comfortable nights sleep under the stars, she is feeling refreshed and hopeful. She smiles as she stretches, letting the cool air wash away her anxieties. The feeling of being outdoors and accomplishing things has given her a new lease on her goals, the time and freedom to self-reflect on her cause while not burdened with the vivid memories of the attack. While her sadness is always just beyond the horizon of her mind, the activities and slowly growing circle of associates makes her feel as though one day Cryovain will fall.

"Ser Dazlyn, Ser Norbus, we thank you very much for sharing your camp with us, and I hope we will be back with you post-haste!"

Sitting comfortably in the back of the cart with Makaria, idly playing with the mountain flowers on the side of the path as they slowly amble towards their goal, using Druidcraft to open the flowers as they pass, listening to the idle chatter of her companions, perking up when Makaria mentions the Gnomes and their gadgets.

"Though I do hope they can help us, I hope not all of that Gnomish ingenuity goes into making weapons of war, I'd be ever so curious to see what sort of inventions we may see. Imagine! A flying machine! Oh, or perhaps something that lets one walk on water? I do hope they are receptive to us"

When the Dwarves are brought back up, Katya taps her lip with a slender finger, looking up to the midly cloudy sky in thought, before looking back down and offering her thoughts.

"Maybe they do know, if I were in their position, I suppose I would keep it to myself if it was that important. I would like to believe the best in them, but their casual disregard for their associate leaves me concerned. Even if we knew we could not trust them, I imagine I'm not the only one who is curious to discover what secrets the temple holds"

The Princess turns to Reitan.

"You seemed very frustrated in there, is there something about the temple that upset you?"

You say your goodbyes to Norbus and Dazlyn and begin your further travel.

You feel the sun at your back as you step through the massive gates that used to secure the now defunct dwarven settlement. An Orc holding a great axe in his hands is barring your way.

Growling something that sounds like

"Uck marucgg! Kash nar tor Naggelug"

Not everybody does understand the orc's words but you feel the force in his words. His eyes travel over your group and he spits to the ground as he spots Vadania and Gilavar.

How do you proceed?

---

OOC please place your tokens on the map. The orc has waited for you all to pass the gates before barring your way.
