Use the WR&M books to create a character, see p.35 of the core book for a helpful summary. Add two more talents to your character. The optional Warrior, Rogue & Scholar variant on p.14 of the core book is in effect. Ask your questions here. I'm not really sure I 100% understand how spellcasting works...what exactly do you need arcane implements for? what is the mana stored in them used for? can they run out of mana? You don't need an arcane implement, though it is useful. - You can store mana in it, which can be used to cast spells. - They are charged by the character spending mana on it (2 mana for one 'stored mana') - You can buy one and start with it half charged (this is on-the-spot DM ruling). For example, finding the weakpoint in a door to more easily to destroy it because you've made them before. And how does time work in the world? If you travel to a location and it takes 3 hours, I'll roll 3d6. If the party goes to sleep for 8 hours, I'll roll 8d6.
