Anthr4xus Posted February 16 Author Clone Share Posted February 16 All of their animals are in obvious current use. It would take some kind of offer for them to even consider giving one up. PureChance Posted February 16 Clone Share Posted February 16 good question raised from that last post actually - how would Karlov go about making some holy water? Name xDiceName xDiceResult xDiceString xDiceRolls
Anthr4xus Posted February 16 Author Clone Share Posted February 16 Quote A cleric or paladin may create holy water by performing a special ritual. The ritual takes 1 hour to perform, uses 25 gp worth of powdered silver, and requires the caster to expend a 1st-level spell slot. That is... so, so incredibly petty, holy crap. I'm genuinely so sorry for you having to deal with that when you're literally trying to have fun, sweet christ- Name xDiceName xDiceResult xDiceString xDiceRolls
Anthr4xus Posted February 16 Author Clone Share Posted February 16 Yeah, I won't say animals won't be targeted in a fight or stolen, especially if someone is riding them to great effect to advertise them as a good target, but to have that happen several times in the same game is super lame. PureChance Posted February 16 Clone Share Posted February 16 I mean the 3rd one at least is a pretty good deal. 10gp for a wasted enemy action that keeps you alive? But yeah, sounds rough. Either make it clear that carrying your stuff and limited resources is an intention with no circumvention (boring, but honest at least), or allow you to solve the problem. Threatening them - or having additional puzzles because of them - is fun occasionally, but not every single encounter. BlackPhoenix Posted February 16 Clone Share Posted February 16 For Falken: Removed 1 handaxe Added a quiver and 6 arrows Added the tent If anyone is willing to carry the tent, Falken will gladly let someone else carry it.
