An enigmatic man of impeccable manners, refined tastes and known for tutoring his childer out of perfectionism. He is famed as a master of Vicissitude and a warrior of his clan, one of the few that do not assume a grotesque appearance. His rule over the city remounts to his mortal days, when he governed it as a Roman officer during the Trajan Campaigns in the area. Shortly after becoming a Tzimisce, he created the Iliescu line - a noble family that serves him, providing a herd and ghouls from which he Embraces when convenient. Everyone has their own agenda, and you need to be careful about in who you place your trust. BACKSTORY Son of a whore. What is usually an insult to Vasile is but a matter of fact. He was born in Drobeta-Turnu Severin, the result of an illegitimate union between Bodgan of House Iliescu and Maria, a commoner prostitute that served Bogdan exclusively. Handed to his uncle soon after birth, he was taught letters, numbers, etiquette and combat. From afar anyone would think he was treated like a trueborn child, but truth was harsher. The Ilie who gave name to the family was in fact a Tzimisce and his descendance was established to serve him, providing a herd and ghouls. There was no warmth in that, no sense of belonging. To overcome the stigma of his bastardy, Vasile applied himself more than anyone else. His dedication to fight training was exceptional, his behavior was that of a perfect soldier and to the point of appearing addicted to battle. In fact, he was addicted to the way he felt during battlethe adrenaline rush during battle. When the war against the Tremere called for new Cainites he was one of the chosen for the Embrace, receiving the surname of his father. Feeding was a challenge but not because of some reluctance to attack humans. Out of principle he decided to drink only of adults, out of necessity he had to feed from those experiencing intense emotion adrenaline rush, addiction flaw- other kine failed to truly satisfy him. The first time hunting alone was a disaster for incapable to stop himself the neonate drained the veins of his victim and tried to bring her back as one of his own, only to find that he could not sire childe. On current nights, Vasile acts as a loyal enforcer of his elder’s will in hope that by doing so he can carve a place where he belongs. To attract enemies, he behaves as a greedy man, wiling to do anything for the right amount of coin, but is in truth faithful to his line. The reason? It’s the way he always lived, and he is satisfied keeping it like that. He was turned into a ghoul to serve Vasile as the social counterbalance for the Tzimisce’s physical skills.
