Taking down an enemy(?) sparked joy. Although Lexent was still rather confused, he sent a query in lingua-technis on the same frequency the first person spoke to him.

"Brother, what is going on here?"

The lens of his lasgun glowed as a salvo of shots fell upon the enemy(?) leader.

Pressed against the wall of the warehouse, she could feel the detonation of the grenades. Disappointing, she thought to herself. At least they wouldn't be tossing any grenades at them, Or tossing them back.

"I am moving to the front to support you ," she called over comms. She moved quietly but quickly to the front of the warehouse, watching the rooftops and the alleyways for opposition.

As she arrived to the front, she scanned the firefight, finding a few of the shooters in the rooftop above. Pulling her small antique revolver, she flicked the Red-Dot attachment to the 'Holy' position and took aim at the pirate above.

The targets that remain - that you're sure are still alive - are the pirate leader, currently in the act of charging Maeve's position brandishing a chainsword, and three shooters in cover behind him. Their cover is great in terms of coverage, but flimsy in terms of protection.

The leader reaches Maeve's position, and tears into her with his sword. The shooters behind him, realising he's in melee with Maeve, and also that there are enemies on their flank, turn their fire on the newly arrived tech priest. They'd likely be targeting Zeke too, if they knew exactly where he was. He's well hidden.

Now, to sort out the action:

The gang leader charges poor Maeve, scores a solid hit in her left leg, dealing enough damage to shear it half off (I'm leaving it to Svartalf to actually calculate the level of damage - also, please remember to Dodge, and spend Fate if needed).

The three shooters do a credible imitation of competence, landing four hits. The first shooter has nice aim, and would have hit Lexent's arm twice, if only it wasn't in cover. The las fire slightly singes the cover, but makes no real impression. The other shooter does the same, only lower. He'd have hit a leg, twice, but hits cover instead. He does burn through it - but Lexent's armor absorbs the rest.

And that's it. Maeve should be fine even if she doesn't Dodge, and otherwise, nothing too dangerous happens.

One of the three following their leader was locked into the sights of her stub revolver. With a slight exhale of breath, as they always told you in the manuals, she flicked the red dot on, let it settle on her target and pulled the trigger repeatedly.

But it's only the first two clicks that are devoid of the loud explosion of the revolver, before the trigger fails to move any more. "By the Emperor's Shriveled Balls!" she exclaimed before trying to duck back into her cover.
