Her eyes capture you as two vacant skies, never strained by the rigors of study. Sunny's gaze is untamed and questioning, flickering like moonlit waves between assumption and supposition. There is a steady, crazed analysis behind them. Clearly of Suel ancestry, the sunlit meadow of wheat falling to her shoulders crashes upon broad shoulders.

She wears a simple, unassuming garb of white linens and tan flax. On first glance carrying nothing of note, as time goes on you realize she carries an old, fractured blade hidden in her fuzzy right boot. When she moves you catch a glimpse of a military sash about her bicep, but can't make out the rank before the loose clothing again conceals it from you.

BACKSTORY

Sunny practically lives in the Feral Dog Tavern, piloting lame pickup lines in an effort to secure free drinks. Not that she doesn't have means of her own.

Lieutenant Valsun Kerxia, as she was once known, was part of a small watch squad in the Greyhawk CHF (Cairn Hills Force). Too young to ever participate in any real wars, her time in the military was mostly the kind of cajoling and ballbusting that made good practice for a later barfly extraordinaire. Nonetheless, somehow that ragtag crew stumbled upon a secret, serreptitious fortune a few years ago...enough for them all to take an extended leave.

Diamond Lake has been her hideout the last few years, but many peg her background straight away given the way she carries herself. In fact, she has outright spilled the beans to a select few during certain nights of revelry...even tinked tankards with Sheriff Chubbin although she steers well clear of politics. They assume Sunny is reliable enough to keep around, at times calling on her strong arm to manage some rabble or scruff.

They assume incorrectly.

Sunny is falling farther out of touch with reality. She sometimes hears voices and it makes her mad. She might sometimes interpret things in an incongruent manner, shocking or puzzling to outside observers. Whether some hereditary illness or curse of her squad's stolen fortune, Sunny's mental state is becoming more and more of a liability.

Most recently, she was out on a 'midnight trail' with Knuckston Grizzlebeard and a few other drinking buddies. She would swear to have witnessed a green-hued comet fall from the sky into the nearby hills. However, when they went to investigate, all they found was a maggot covered skeleton. Knuckston's later death in the mines continues to churn in her mind, suspicions and fancy taking the place of logic and evidence...connecting the dots where there should be none between tips of the bottle and horrible, off-key bursts of song.

Thanks for the application @Cointhief everything looks to be there, solid tie in to the campaign world. Just enough to make one want to learn more about Sunny. Good job.

The closing date is still a ways out (February 9th) but I will mark her completed and wish you the best of luck in final selection.
