cailano Posted January 30 Clone Share Posted January 30 Racial Attribute Maximums The non-human races have significantly different body types from humans and thus different attribute maximums. This, along with the 20% bonus Humans get to earned XP, helps to balance the special abilities of the non-human races. Note: some races can exceed 18 in an attribute. Since that can't be rolled on 3d6, the extra point has to come from the Zero-To-Hero rule or Player Level bonuses. Exception: Halflings. Dwarf Strength: 16, Dexterity: 14, Constitution: 19, Charisma 14 Elf Strength: 14 Dexterity: 19 Elves can never roll more than 1d6 per hit die for hit points. Half-Elf Strength: 16 Half-Elves can never roll more than 1d6+1 per hit die for hit points. Halfling Strength: 8 Dexterity: 19 (Halflings receive a +2 bonus to Dexterity but max at 19) Constitution: 14 Half-Orc Strength: 19 Intelligence: 13 Wisdom: 16 Charisma: 13 What if you roll above your racial maximum? Excess points are lost. Name xDiceName xDiceResult xDiceString xDiceRolls
