With her enemy sprawled out on the ground they were easy targets. Lunging forward, she stabbed at them with her blade. Badly missing with her first blow, but then connecting with a sharp kick to the midsection of first enemy, then she sliced at the second one. She waited for them to stand up and charge her again. He had hoped to start the engagement on his own terms, but now that the foe had come to him and his allies, there was naught left to do but strike. Wishing to capitalize on Sabrael's quickening magic, Denrag opted to laying into the fiends. He drew back his right hand and it's his palm the air swirled, condensing into the whirling semblance of a warhammer. Straining from the effort, he infused the mystic with cold iron and concentrated swirling ale into a handheld tempest. "Back to the hells with you all!", he shouted as his supernaturally propelled limbs rained blows down on the pair of Babau in front of him. She then begins casting her last summoning spell for the day, to summon one final archon. Cast: Summon Monster IV, to summon one last hound archon. Note to DM, Denrag and Sunna: Denrag's archon will attack together with Denrag, and Sunna's archon will do the same. Each archon will cast Aid on the champion they are with: Sunna and Sabrael: +15 temp. hit points, +1 to hit and saves vs. fear Denrag: +9 temporary hit points, +1 to hit and saves vs. fear Also, Denrag, Sunna and their archons are hasted. Finally, Denrag Sunna and Sabrael are under the effect of the archons' magic circle against evil aura. Quake double moves, earning the ire of the shadow demons (14 points of damage) Sunna full attacks the babau and makes ready to attack more Denrag full attacks the babau Sabrael starts casting another summon Babau 2 and 4 both stand (take attacks of opportunity) and 5 foot step to engage Sunna. Babau 3 and 5 take 5' steps to flank Denrag and make full attacks. None of them hit. Babau 1 attacks the hound archon with a full attack and the archon looks mortally wounded, hanging on to life with just a sliver. The three shadow demons invisibly pursue Quake. One sprints forward and pounces on him with disembodied teeth and claws, while the other two fall behind having used their sprint already. The party has initiative! He brought the weapon down upon the prone demon, hoping to speed it on its way to oblivion. After the onslaught, the wind master wobbled a bit as his body strained from the excess of power. Though the resulting carnage might well have been worth it. His assigned archon guard did it's best to help with the last of it's strength against its original foe. She quickly casts a Haste spell on herself as well as on the two archons near her; she then orders one archon to attack the nearest babau, while the other remains near her to protect her. Cast: Haste, on Sabrael, Archon 3, and Archon 4 (to be placed on the map, 1 square SW of Babau 4). Archon 3 stays with Sabrael; Archon 4 makes a full attack against babau 4. Note to DM, Denrag and Sunna: Denrag's archon will attack together with Denrag, and Sunna's archon will do the same. Clearly gravely wounded Quake moves seeming to pop out of existence. The recent blood and other gore falling like a bucket of filth to the ground below. The small cat left in his absence fly’s off at full speed hoping to regroup outside the pursuing shadows range if not attention. "Mistress Sabrael, invisible shadows are going to decend on us shortly, I barley got away. I have nothing to weaken them. You summons will be of great help , I am happy to see them, well done!" OOC He will travel 90 feet..ish to be outside of a charge/pounce by the shadow. I am not sure of the rules on a tiny animal. If he lands on the sholder of a summoned angel does it afford any protection? He does 11, 8 and 11 damage (partially cold but I don't see any cold resistance on the sheet) The party is up! Had he not pushed his body to it's limits, even that would have been manageable, but worn thin as he was it was a dire threat. "One of the shadows is in front of this position, but I will deal with the Babau," He called back to Sunna, without turning his head. Dealing with the more exotic fiends was her specialty after all, he'd deal with the straggler and hopefully aid in wearing the shadow demon down. Drawing on more of his inner strength, he forged another powerful windhammer, shifted his position to make room for Sunna, and struck out with enhanced speed and power at the last Babau. The first blow felled the beast but while he tried to follow up against the Shadow Demon, his surprise through his blows wide of where he judged the fiend to be. Ever valiant, the wounded archon did it's duty, reaching out and blessing Denrag once more, guarding him against harm.
