Varen Tai Posted April 5 Author Clone Share Posted April 5 I usually hate word games (like Scrabble - ugh), but my wife and I were eyeballing spell smasher in the past as something I may be interested in. You are piquing my interest once again... Name xDiceName xDiceResult xDiceString xDiceRolls
Basil_Bottletop Posted April 5 Clone Share Posted April 5 The game Paperback has a PvP and a Co-Op version in it. However, there's a warning that the Co-Op is very difficult and we actually rarely win it. But unlike some other games, the whole thing takes 30 minutes, so a loss doesn't feel like quite the same level of wasted time if the board wins. I'm looking at you, Arkham Horror. Varen Tai Posted April 5 Author Clone Share Posted April 5 As far as co-op goes, I've quite enjoyed Castle Panic - not the vanilla version, but after you add the wizard tower expansion. I've found that some of my kids will only play co-op games. Name xDiceName xDiceResult xDiceString xDiceRolls
Zelphas Posted April 5 Clone Share Posted April 5 Oof, I played 1-player Arkham horror once. It really locks in on the feeling of creeping existential despair as all you can do is watch while the world is slowly crushed, and your small, scrambling attempts to stem the tide are hardly noticeable, let alone effective... So in that way, it did its job, but it definitely takes far too long to set up. Name xDiceName xDiceResult xDiceString xDiceRolls
