The cursed elf's eyes flicker pink with a pulsing, variable rhythm...mimicking the silent and subtle communication of a distant star. The Watcher of other Realms carries a faint trace of stardust on her skin, a silverly reflection from the tiny motes of light the last thing you see before she disappears into shadow. She carries the Mark of Exile on her wrist, her familial crest on fire, an animated scar dancing with convincing flames. You know who the movers and shakers are, whom to go to for the favors you seek, and what the current intrigues of interest in the group are. BACKSTORY Elegyn owes her heritage to a certain noble house, but her loyalties to a fallen star. By birth she belongs to the disgraced House Montelgrue, the so-called 'Master of Roads' who twist important shadow roads into impossible, infinite loops as traps, delays, and security. The house was once prestigiously stationed about mid-way up Spiral-Downs, high above the fog of shadow in the Court of One Million Stars. When the House Scion was embarrassingly killed in tournament combat (a combat the Scion himself instigated...), Elegyn and the majority of her family were excommunicated from court and replaced with doppelgangers (as is Sarastra's custom). The imposters do little except to bolster Montelgrue's image as a dying, joke of a house. With a fool's hope of regaining her station, Elegyn still serves Cylentha, the Silver Mistress, that celestial emissary that dropped to the world some 200 years ago during a prophesied starfall. The star's interpreters seem to agree, Cylentha believes a threat lay within the Mana Wastes of Midgard. The resemblance between the mural's bridges and the moonlight bridges of the Starry Court are clear, some kind of similar or related technology is responsible for both. If something laid ruin to the spire in the wastes, the same thing could topple the silver spires of the Starry Court. Elegyn seeks to uncover the truth about Rultmoork's fall, to prevent a similar fate for the Court that has abandoned her.
