There was at least a means to keep it hidden away to a degree. Though getting access would still potentially become difficult. The Fishery was set to seal up one access point. And the black market group that resided in the city was potentially going to be utilizing the secondary entry. Walking in a cave that was being guarded by thieves might not be keen to just let them pass through without question. Khevlar had been silent for a good part of the time in the temple and the walk back. Kokuten could sense his presence, though the "death" of Galadriel was clearly affecting him deeply. Johnny was also unnaturally quiet. The elemental having violated him and the general experience in the temple were something he was mostly trying to forget. This time proving a bit more difficult without the spell that wiped his memory the first trip in. He was nursing his second pint, having downed the first one rather quickly. The rest of the group found themselves in the back corner table away from the crowd. A discussion to plan their next course of action. The presumed search and rescue had certainly taken a turn and now he felt that the group was teetering on the brink of momentous events. "Well then," he said as he set down his mug after a sip, "I presume we still intend to track down Khevlar and Galadriel's former associates? Given the traveling that entails, even if we use the Gate, we'll need a goodly amount in the way of supplies. " He shifted his focus to Davin, "You mentioned knowing of a simple job while we were down in the temple, correct? I have a bit of money saved but I'm sure we'd all appreciate getting more before we gear up for braving Masero's weather." The jungle native gave an involuntary shudder as he visualized the frigid landscape. "Assuming that's still where we intend to start? After getting supplies from Tarsis." Though Medraut doesn't sound or look particularly enthusiastic as he stared into a mug of tea. Now that the enormity of their quest had time to sink in, the weight felt even heavier. She has alarmingly bright red eyes that almost seem to have a soft glow to them suggesting the possibility of supernatural influences in her past lineage. Without her armor, the edge of an old scar remains visible and her hands are rough and callused from her long hours of training also showing the faint silver of scales and small claws for fingernails. Her canine teeth started to elongate slightly into fangs with two other molars starting to sharpen as well. Despite her physical and frail appearance, Lunamaria is a lot stronger then her frame would suggest putting many a foe off guard. "Well at least I can attempt to warm my heart with the prospect of seeing such creatures. Will be a splendid distraction from slowly freezing to death. " He shook his head in mock despondency. "Still," his demeanor became more serious as he considered the situation. "It seems that we should try to keep our stays as brief as possible to avoid trouble with the locals or buying means of dealing with the weather if denied shelter." The thought soured the taste of the ale in his mouth, but while he could touch the emotions of others, changing their hearts was beyond him. Still, he'd do his best to smooth things when possible. He nodded at Medraut as well. "I haven't forgotten your concerns either, though a trip to Tarsus might be a chance for you, or some of us on your behalf, to consult with your mentor about what he knows." Might not be the best coin compared to something from Davin's people on the black market but its at least going in the right direction. He took another sip, glancing at Medraut. Do we want to bring more people in on this? I dont know your friend, or your sister. Not saying cant trust them, but every new person in this, is a new target. Anyone finds out about this, we have the Church, the Watchtowers, and probably a half dozen other organizations gunning for us. Can they provide enough new info to risk it? Will they risk themselves? Then the front door of the tavern opened and three blue robed mages made their way inside the building. The one in the front was older than the other two and seemed to be the lead Astor. The two younger ones looked like they could almost be twins. The only visible difference being their eyes. Both seemed to have hetrochromina, though the sides of the color difference in their eyes was the opposite. The group of mages looked over the tavern before their gaze seemed to set on the group's back table. The three mages moved towards the back table and paused for a moment.
