Physical Description

Laurana Everhart possesses an air of quiet confidence, her lithe frame moving with a fluid grace that belies her nimble agility. With piercing emerald eyes that gleam with cunning intelligence, she surveys her surroundings with keen awareness, always one step ahead of those who would seek to catch her unawares. Her long, raven-black hair cascades in untamed waves down her back, framing a face adorned with delicate features and a mischievous smirk that hints at the mischief lurking beneath her calm exterior.

Clad in supple leather armor that molds to her voluptuous form like a second skin, Laurana moves through the shadows with effortless ease, her movements silent and swift as she navigates the alleys and rooftops of the city. A master of disguise, she can blend seamlessly into any crowd, her keen eyes missing nothing as she picks pockets and relieves unsuspecting marks of their valuables with deft fingers and a quick wit.

Despite her profession, there is an undeniable allure to Laurana Everhart, a magnetic charisma that draws others to her side even as she skirts the edges of the law. With a roguish grin and a twinkle in her eye, she embraces the thrill of the chase, always seeking the next daring escapade that will test her skills to their limits.

Background

Laurana Everhart's story begins amidst the bustling streets of a vibrant trading city, where she was born into a family of prosperous merchants. From a young age, she was immersed in the world of commerce, her days spent amidst the colorful tapestry of market stalls and bustling bazaars. Raised by parents who valued hard work and ambition, Laurana learned the art of negotiation and the value of a keen eye for opportunity.

Yet, despite the comforts of her upbringing, Laurana felt a restless spirit stirring within her. While her family dreamed of expanding their trading empire, she yearned for something more, a life beyond the confines of the merchant's stall. Drawn to the thrill of the unknown and the promise of adventure, she began to dream of a life lived on the edge, where danger lurked around every corner and fortunes were won and lost in the blink of an eye.

As she grew older, Laurana's wanderlust only intensified, until finally, unable to resist the call of the open road any longer, she made the decision to leave behind the safety and security of her family's trade. With little more than her wits and a thirst for excitement, she set out into the world, determined to carve her own path and make her mark upon the world.

It was during her travels that Laurana discovered her natural talent for subterfuge and stealth. Finding herself drawn to the shadowy underworld of thieves and rogues, she embraced the life of a skilled opportunist, using her quick wit and nimble fingers to navigate the treacherous alleys and darkened alleyways of the city. With each successful heist, she felt the rush of adrenaline course through her veins, confirming her decision to leave behind the life of a merchant for one of danger and excitement.

Yet, even as she embraced her new life as a rogue, Laurana never forgot the lessons instilled in her by her family. Though her methods may be unorthodox, she remains guided by a strict code of honor, refusing to harm the innocent or betray the trust of those who have shown her kindness. For Laurana Everhart, the path she has chosen may be fraught with peril, but she faces the challenges ahead with a steely resolve and a determination to forge her own destiny, no matter where the road may lead.

Looks mostly good; a few things:

  • You'll need to roll for HP (4d4) using the Myth-Weavers dice roller (dice icon top-right of each post)
  • Damage bonus should be +0
  • Thac0 should be 18 19
  • Subtract the cost of your equipment from your 2,000gp
  • Select a magic item

Can you remind me please how Thac0 is calculated? Thanks.

Big drop on hp, from 12 to 7. 😅 Anyway i imagined her fragile and gorgeous, so that would work.

Will take care of everything else.

It's from the table on Page 29 of the blue book. Which I misread, it's 19 for thieves at level 4.

Hello!!!

Fixed her equipment as requested.

Do you think i should change her constitution for survivability, or its perfectly fine for a thief? 7 hp doesn't seem a lot.

About magic item, what about ring of invisibility? I read the spell in the red book and the ring is listed in the blue book. Can be activated once a round, but she appears as soon she attacks.

Thanks

7hp is not great, but with a decent sized party and not taking too many risks, perfectly acceptable in this genre.

Ring of invisibility is fine.

IOU one random magic item as well.

UPDATE: Laurana is now the proud owner of a Spear +1.

Clarification on the ring of invisibility: it functions once per turn (10 minutes) rather than per round (10 seconds).

Ok no worries, i understand the original can be problematic haha

probably she will mostly use it for scouting, at 7 hp mistakes will be deadly if try to backstab everybody. :)
