The arrow flies and a maroon blur trailed by a whipping cape of green and gold follows after. Dagen bursts out into the enemy camp with a mighty leap that seemed to mock the fact that he was wearing heavy armor and carrying a blade almost as large as he was. Mentally Dagen went through a checklist as his feet hit the bone-laden ground. 1. Free the Prisoners. 2. Make sure his allies are unharmed. 3. Have the others escape. 4. Scour this place of the cannibalistic orcs.

Dagen wouldn't allow more to die by these orcs if he could help it. But inside the back of his mind, he heard the quiet scream of a man who entered an enemy camp alone and had 6 enemies who would all be willing to make him regret that decision. 


Full round action to enter "Orc Camp". My current location is now in Orc Camp

 

Defend the Weak is now in effect: When someone is attacked in the "Orc Camp" I can spend a refresh and block that attack for them. This includes the prisoners.

Army on the Edge of My Blade is now in effect: Being outnumbered doesn't give me any penalties, or grant any bonuses to my enemies.

Shyrrik glanced at the others and nodded. A spell coming to his lips as he began to move swiftly along side the warrior in red. "Get on me if you need to." His form shifting and changing to a form more suited for battle along side Dagen. Talons and pawed feet kicking up earth as feathers and fur sprouting from his body. Soon a red feathered griffon was running along with him. Wings flapping mightily. Preparing to meet the orcs and hopefully provide a bigger distraction with Dagen so the others could either free the prisoners in safety or what ever it is they were good at.

Everything happened so fast, as the distraction was cast and the first arrow was shot deep into the chest of the Flame Barer, all hell instantly broke loose. Looking over the Orcs would quickly see Dagan running into the camp. All of them would immediately grab ahold of their weaponry and rush forward! As only a half a second went by before Dagen was joined by the large red Griffon which quickly made the Orcs stop their forward assault and take a defensive position. Things were serious now with the sight of a large creature on the side of the Dagen the Human. 

As they all stood with their sheilds and Axes raised fire balls from behind the orc line would quickly rain down towards Dagen and Shyrrik! As this was happening both Orc Groups would take up full defense.

Dagen blinks in surprise as the flame drops towards him. Then he let's out a yell and charges forwards, shoving the blast upwards with his sword and flinging it away from Shyrrik.

The flames rolled around Dagen for a second before he charges past the orcs during end moment of confusion and takes a swipe at the shaman before he could cast another spell.

Shyrrik had been about to take cover from the magical attack when Dagen intercepted it. Head shaking from the surprise of it he focused on the battle ahead. Shrieking in fury as his attention was turned towards the orc groups waiting to decide on how to meet them in battle. Using the knowledge he had gleaned before the battle he started rushing off to the second groups side.

 

Talons digging off wood as he pounced onto a table. Using it as a spring board as he pounced further upward. Using the height the table provided to make the sharp talons that were coming down at one of the orcs that much deadlier to it. Hopefully powerful enough to get through the creatures armour.

spacer.pngSeeing as the Shaman fell and the other orcs are being dealt with, Tsuki wouldn't miss her opportunity this time. With a quick step and a jump, she projected an illusion of herself atop some trees, while she was readying herself to slip back into her Luna persona.

But, I want you to make sure that my actions will not be forgotten, as I have changed the lives of many for the better, and will continue to do so. Farewell, friends, and do not let the darkness overtake you, lest we meet again in less favorable circumstances"

 

With this, Tsuki would disappear in a puff of smoke, leaving behind a single calling card that would fall on the ground, and creating confusion in the scene, leaving the opponents Discombobulated.

With the Flame Barer cut down, the two Groups would back up a bit, tightening together and creating a shield wall. Together both groups would then begin beating onto their shields with their weaponry and shouting in their Orcish tongue. This sound would ring through the forest and the trees would begin to shake. 

 

Seconds later arrows would fly right by Gens head. In the distance he would see small groups of Orc Hunters running towards the party coming from the small creek. 

Orc Action

Action: The Orc Groups have called for backup within the area to respond to the camp. 

Next round, 2 hunting groups will enter into the conflict.

Dagen, hearing the chanting of the Orcs, realized that time was running low. With a grunt, Dagen charged to his side, away from the Orcs and towards the wood and rope prison. With a heavy slash, Dagen cut the top of the cage, and then with a twist, he slid his sword down and pried the bars outwards, creating an opening for people to escape through. "IF YOU CAN FIGHT, DO SO. OTHERWISE, GATHER THOSE WHO CAN'T RUN AND PREPARE TO GO DOWN TO THE LOWER FLOORS!" The prisoners were the goal. Getting them out was the best plan. But these prisoners were fellow warriors, and many with a chance to fight, would. But he also knew that many were too scared, tortured, or beaten to fight, and being given the option to take someone who was more exhausted down a floor would be a viable excuse to not stand around.

Dagen waved his head in a direction towards Gen. "Head that way, our ranged backup will cover fire, and I believe our mage is preparing a route out." Dagen hoped that was the case anyways. "MOVE!"

Shyrrik took a moment to take gauge of the new situation that was happening. Seeing Dagen move into action he gave a small nod of his beaked head. Bounding over to follow after the armoured fellow to the cages. Standing next to his companion to show he was on the warriors side as he approached the captives. Giving everyone a quick glance over them. Swiftly changing back to his elven form. "Those who can't fight or flee, mount up onto my back! I will carry you to safety."

 

Once more becoming a griffon so that he would be better suited to help the captives. Laying low so that a few of the more wounded captives could climb up onto his back. Taking as many as he physically could as he stood up once more. Giving Dagen and the other captives who were willing to fight a nod as he launched himself carefully into the air. Least he knock his passengers off his back. Hoping to get them somewhere swiftly so he could come back to aid Dagen and the others.

Swiftly and securely climbing using his sharp clawed hands and feet, he made it near the canopy, which provided treetop camouflage, cloaking Gen and giving him more sanctuary from potential ranged fire. Looking out towards the orc's camp littered with human remains, he felt strong nausea, but managed to steel himself to distract the orcs below, to provide Dagen and Shyrrik an opportunity to continue aiding the prisoners. He shot an arrow towards the camp, hoping to hit one of the stronger orcs, and momentarily look away from the warrior in front of them.

Breaking the cage that held the captives was a great move done by Dagen, though most fled... a few of the captured men would quickly pick up weaponry that was laying around the orc camp and aid in the battle! Captivated by Dagen's bravery the men would quickly come to his side and ready themselves to fight along side him. Those who couldnt fight retreated towards Shyrrik and were removed from the battle and into a safer part of the woods. 

Result! 

  • Dagen gains the Aspect (Tired Fighting Men) and also a +1 to fight actions as long as the aspect is active.

Shyrrik sighed as he managed to get the wounded to safety. Though he knew things were about to get quite hectic. His powerful wings beating as he once more launched into the air. Once more racing back towards the encampment to aid Dagen.

 

Seeing the camp below him and taking but a second to take stock of the unfolding scene below him. Figuring the best thing to do is help Dagen swiftly deal with the enemies within the camp. Folding in his wings as he dove down towards the same target as Dagen. Wings flaring out to hopefully obscure his companion and the prisoner from the orcs' view. To give them an edge in the first seconds of the coming clash. Then flying past the orcs.

Shyrrik attempt to block Dagen from view would be impossible as the Orcs sight was just to great in this environment even when discombobulated. Both Orcs Groups would take a moment to overcome their confusion and get back into the fight. 

On the other hand the other two hunting groups would enter into the melee. Seeing Gen in the treetops Hunting Group 1 would pull back their strings and let loose a volley of arrows towards him.

Hunting Group 2 would travel into the Orc Camp as their action. 

 

 

Actions Taken

Both Orc Group 1 and Orc Group 2 would attempt to overcome the Discombobulated Aspect placed on them by Luna.

But right after the assault, he made his way to a position where he could take a shot back at the orcs below.
