Common (Delon) - The most common tongue across Delos.  Primary to Humans, their influence has spread across the majority of the western end of the continent. As such the language has become the main language for most. Human Kindgoms do have their own regional dialects that may have some various slang and nomenclature specific to that area or region.  Halflings and Jotuns are also adopters of Common. 

 

Numen (Old Delon) - Considered to be the predecessor to what is now Common.  It uses the same written alphabet and was more commonly used in the First Age. While it has fallen out of fashion for most modern humans, it is still used by the Church of Divine Power. Being used in written religious texts and used in many ceremonies.

 

Draconic - Used originally by the Dragons, Wyrms, and Hydras created by the Titans, the language has been adapted by the Watchtowers and most Arcanum scholars. It uses its own alphabet and script.    

 

Primordial - Language of the Old Gods, the Suli, Genasi, and various creatures of the Elemental Planes. 

 

Geant - Ancient language of the Gigas originally.  Ogre, Trollkin, Gargoyles, and strangely enough Sprites

 

Fiendish - Fiends 

 

Celestial - Celestials 

 

Sylvan - The Archfey and the Yokai 

 

Aklo - Language of the Deep Dwellers: Merrow, Rokea, Cecaelia, and the Isegun

 

Goblinoid - Hobgoblins, Gremlins, Bugbears, and Oni (Orcs)

 

Dwarven - Language of the Dwarves

 

Elven - Language of the Elves

 

Gato - Language of the Bastet (Catfolk) 

 

Garou - Language of the Wulfin 

 

Sign Language (Thieves Speak) - A language of various hand motions and positions used to symbolize words or various phrases without the need for verbal communication. Originally created by criminals, the reputation and practicality of such communication saw it seeing more and more public acceptance.  Commonly used within the military special operation groups, and others with a medical condition that limits speech. 

 

Quorian - Language of the fabled Quori that resident on the Astral Plane.  The Quori language have no verbal components as the race communications also completely via telepathy.  However it does have a written language with its own alphabet script. 

 

Gnomish - Dead language.  Since the Great Plague that wiped out the Gnomish race from Delos, the usage of Gnomish has seen fading usage and popularity.
