Jonas Clark - Human Wizard

Personality: Intelligent, introverted, shy. Jonas is the kid in the back of the room that few notice, but that notices everying. His curiosity is one of his strongest motivators. He is not very confident in his social skills. He is soft-spoken to he point of being hard to hear, and if he thinks that it would require him being too loud to get his opinion across, will hold his tongue and go his own way. He knows he is smart, but sometimes feels that sharing his knowledge is not likely to be well received. If he were to have feelings for someone else,, he would die before admitting it.

Backstory: Jonas grew up in a merchanting family. Both his mother and father were bookkeepers for a rich spice merchant, They would bring Jonas to work with them, which was allowed as long as he kept quiet and did not disturb the operation. His parents solved that problem mostly by providing Jonas with a steady supply of books.

This led to a very shy boy whose best friends were books. 

He almost did not get Tested. The search passed through his town, and others were excited to see if they had 'the gift.' So too did Jonas. But he feared that he did not, and had almost talked himself into believing that it was best to hope and not know that he lacked magic than to be Tested. Fortunately, the merchant that employed his parents had an eye for talent, and shoved a horrified Jonas into the line, and stayed with him until he was led away by the mages. When he emerged, and had been told he had the gift, the merchant and his parents were thrilled, both at his opportunity, and also at the fact that they had been right all along.

Level Up to level 2!

Jonas adds two 1st level spells, Chromatic Orb and Arcane Lock Alarm to his spellbook. (Can't get Arcane Lock yet - it's 2^nd level)

He chooses an Arcane Tradition. He chooses Divination.

Divination school at 2nd level grants Portent.

For HP he rolled a 3+1. Since it's apparently an option, he will take the half (4)+1. Jonas now has 12 HP.

He also has a third 1st level spell slot.

Level Up to 3rd Level

HP 1d6+1=4. The "take average roll" would yield 5 instead, so Jonas will take that result.

Added 2 2nd level spells: Aganazars Scorcher and Mind Spike
