Backstory

  Carl was always a small guy, but in high school he wasn't a push over, wrestling in the 120 weight class back then.  He's put on a few pounds since his teenage years, but an active life hasn't left him a couch potato. He knows the only way to get the good shot is to be out there when it happens, where it happens.

  Carl lived a pretty good life up till a year ago, a graduate of the Freedom City School of Design he was able to get an internship at the Daily Beacon and with a bit of hustle got himself a position as a staff photographer.  Over the years, his eye and hustle let him move up the ranks till he was generating his share of front page and section leading shots with his shots of Supers in action, as well as some sports photography to fill in the day to day assignments.  But his caption moniker 'photo by CC Snaps' was common enough that he thought he was making a name for himself.

   Then the downturn in local media really hit hard.  Not much warning before the Daily Beacon shut down completely, laid off the entire staff.  Turns out his reputation was just good enough that the Daily Herald, the surviving newspaper, offered him an unpaid internship as their best offer.  Turned off by this insulting offer, he decided that his years of covering the supers beat could be better leveraged into going into that line of grey work he'd been hearing about, looting those old, abandoned lairs and headquarters for goodies.

Complications

Motivation: Thrills - Being around super fights to capture the action for so many years has left a need for the adrenaline rush of danger.

Enemy: CC has exposed more than one secret identity over the years. Some of those that he exposed are less than happy about it, like The Mad Hatter and Captain Rock'em Sock'em
