When s*it really hits the fan. Rarely used. Usually when colloquially called "Space Sickness" takes over the population. Not a particularly well-researched phenomenon. One of the main reasons there is no moon shift longer than 6 months. Since every recorded incident happened between 8-9 months. Includes Riot shield, Helmet, and Armoury code for a designated lethal weapon.
|
Required skill: Firearm Training, Parry skill, Without Parry skill Protection falls to 4. |
Light Vacum Suit | Protection +5 | 10 lb | Not meant as armor but it does give the wearer, equal protection as the Full Riot Gear, Environmental protection (Extreme heat and cold), and the ability to go outside. The oxygen supply is 1 hour. |
Required skill: Vacum Suit training, without it speed inside is reduced by 10 ft, and if outside at natural 1 (Crit Failure) 1d6 is rolled. The best outcome is, you due to unfamiliarity fall prone, the worst outcome, the suit is severely compromised, the character dies |
Hazardous Environment Vacum Suit |
Protection +8 |
15 lb | As it says on the tin this baby is made for crap that space can throw at you, anyone will have to put in some serious work to harm you when you crawl inside. Oxigene supplies 3 hours, with emergency systems that when activated can keep you alive up to 3 Terran days. But considering they are meant for emergencies (like you being pinned under a rock or some other catastrophe) it drains power from your other systems. So if you turn it on and keep working as normal. You'll be out of juice withing a day. |
Required skill: Vacum Suit, if you don't have it you can't use the suit at all. Furthermore, as any better protection, 10 ft. less speed applies both inside and outside. |
